Chris Taylor, Ffion Elin Lanchbury and Kate White will join Richard Roberts, Andrew Baker and Mike Dacey as Directors – to develop the company’s vision and its business strategy for future growth. Having joined Rio in July 2021, Senior Architectural Technologist Dan Bees will become Digital Construction Manager. Working closely with Andrew, he will focus on digital project delivery and mentoring new talent.

Kind of by accident. I trained as a theatre designer but there’s very little work about… After a few years I wanted to stop living like a student, so took an office job. I ended up as the office assistant to the Toy Product Development team at Disney Consumer Products. Associate Andrew Joss is a BIM Manager and Co-chair of the UK BIM Alliance (Welsh region) with over 15 years of experience. He now becomes Rio Architects’ Digital Construction Lead. He will continue to develop and manage the company’s approach to digital work processes.

Sian Evans is promoted to Office Manager/Document Controller. Sian will oversee the business’s day-to-day administrative duties whilst managing the control of incoming and outgoing documentation.
