There’s only so much in a ship of this scale that can be decorated, but there doesn’t feel like any wasted space. Given the almost legend-status of the original LEGO Ghost and Phantom, I think this set will sell incredibly well, especially if the Ahsoka series is well-received. Just like The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka will be getting brand new LEGO sets alongside its release with these three LEGO sets releasing on 1st September 2023.

As such we are a little reticent to recommend this as an investment without seeing how popular the sets and the sub theme Ahsoka are. Those LEGO fans who already own the earlier 75053 The Ghost might not find the new build to be different enough to warrant double-dipping. Its Gloss Black Base and acrylic construction provides unobstructed visibility, allowing every aspect of the set to shine. This minifigure will likely be the most coveted of the set in years to come, and this will be entirely deserved. The first two episodes of the Disney+ show Ahsoka aired last week and with that comes a range of brand new LEGO Star Wars sets.

I think it’s mighty clever of LEGO to re-release the Ghost and The Phantom, given that they’re currently one of the most sought-after LEGO Star Wars sets from the Rebels eta. The scene itself is inspired by both the Ahsoka TV series and Clone Wars where the ship can be seen travelling through space. There are also 5 Star Wars™ characters, including a General Hera Syndulla LEGO minifigure and a Chopper (C1-10P) LEGO droid figure.
