Count your fingers and toes, then count backwards until a spaceship lifts off and rockets away from the Earth. Her many international bestsellers include All That Glitters, Royal, Daddy’s Girls, The Wedding Dress, The Numbers Game, Moral Compass, Spy, and other highly acclaimed novels.

Cerah sesaat ketika perang usai untuk kembali muram saat Sam harus kembali ke Amerika dan terpaksa berpisah sementara dengan Solange. The book is therefore a delight for reading together or alone, and the weight of the volume will provide considerable satisfaction to novice readers. They are later reunited by an estranged family friend: the lawyer who placed them in the homes where they spent their childhoods. When John Chapman, lawyer and prestigious private investigator, is asked to find these three women, he wonders why. With a cruel twist of fate, the children suddenly find themselves orphaned and eventually get separated. Kaleidoscope unfolds into a novel much bigger than the sum of its parts: a story of family, grief and identity and what it means to make a life out of an ‘opportunity, an aberration, scooped up through… unspeakable loss. It was also so well-written that the story, although "squezed" into 372 pages (I read a kinda different edition) was totally NOT boring or with plot gaps. I'm not sure what I just read, but I know there is not a student at my school currently to whom I would recommend it.

Selznick began his career as a bookseller at Eeyore’s Books for Children in New York City and has worked as a puppeteer and a set designer.Arthur yang semakin tua, tahu-tahu dikejutkan dengan kemunculan Hillary di kantornya, 8 tahun kemudian. Her skillful storytelling keeps readers engaged, as they become invested in the characters' lives and yearn for resolution.

Joyful case studies of homes that range from lightly speckled to heavily doused in colour with interviews from the renowned designers that created them, Kaleidoscope explores ways to use colour in the home, enticing readers into the world of the happy hued house. Luego de haber leido el inquietante "Tambor de hojalata", y para quitar ese mal sabor me refugié en Danielle Steel y la verdad me supo a miel con limón. The emotions in each of the stories change and wrap around one another, creating a pattern of grief, sorrow, love and joy. It's the way this is put together that fascinates me more than the actual writing; the afterword and the trailer explains that this book came about during the first wave of the pandemic, when the author and his husband were stuck on separate sides of the country. This individual becomes the driving force behind the story, piecing together the fragments of their shattered lives and unraveling the enigma surrounding their parents' deaths. Incredibly short stories (2-5 pages) that weave together to form a sort of tapestry, but also leave a lot open to the reader.

You just have to read a novel like this, it will touch you, make you think and at the same time entertain you. Even after reading the reviews to see what others took away, it didn't coalesce into anything meaningful for me.I do find it hard to believe, again in my limited understanding of what exactly this was supposed to do, that this is a middle grade novel.
