There is always a little cliche in these types or paranormal romances, which I don’t mind at all but if you are looking for something to break the mold this is not it. Charley Davidson Series, Dark Light,AfterLife Saga, The Captive Series and Mark of the Vampire Series……. the BEST part of the story… the sexual (and eventual romantic) tension that was simply off the charts! Amelia Hutchins does not dip her tales in honey; she coats them in the powerful, drug-like wines of the Gods and makes them drip with heartless carnage.

If you can walk away from this blog with any recommendation that was worth the time – Kristen Ashley is it! Oh and I thought the discussion section was only for certain books that were making us all crazy and we needed to vent without spoiling for anyone else…. But by far, the worst feature about this book is how many spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes were made throughout the book. More Fae are dying, and I feel as if time is running out for us to find all of those responsible and put an end to the killings. These points, which are displayed as yellow stars under the character's health gauge, can be earned in a variety of ways.It felt like I was sometimes missing pieces of the puzzle without even knowing that I was missing them. stars for the alpha-jerk fun and romance angle, which luckily of me, was the majority and most important part of the story. Just because he doesn't have sex with her - he has her chained up until he "fae-fucks" her to submission, naked except for her thong, and feeling her up and kissing her - all while acting out his fucked up interview. There are several new characters added, but most are direct replacements of previous characters and retain almost all of their moves. He was Barrons-like (although he could have been worse – which would have been even better for me) 😉 , and 3.Donna: Just finished Fighting Destiny (The Fae Chronicles) by Amelia Hutchins… if you are in the mood for paranormal romance this one is a keeper! Though he's incredible dangerous, you still get to see soft sides of him, where Ryder's gentle and caring, and you simply can't help but to fall for him. But I think that is where the problem lies, I think I need to accept that he isn’t human, that his species are vastly different and so probably was his upbringing. In fact, she has spent her entire life conditioning herself to become anything but because of that terrible night that damaged her soul.

Have you ever heard of the old Celtic legends of the Fae - beautiful, magical, deadly and a love of messing with humans just for kicks and giggles? every time he touches me or looks at me with those dangerous golden eyes he seems to pull me further in under his spell, despite my better judgment.Syn and her friends can’t trust anyone and nothing is as it seems on the surface – not even herself. Although Ryder promised to save me, I couldn't let him get near this creature, so I willingly (sort of) signed myself over to be his new plaything.

I figured one part of this story out, but the person who I thought would be behind the main crimes in this story was not, which shocked me. A killer is on the loose and sadly this story ends on a cliffhanger BUT the good news is - the next book is already written so we can find out who this mystery person is that is has shocked our heroine when she arrives for answers. Show me someone who needs to die, and I will make it happen - I’ll bury the fucker six feet deep and know one will know the why or who of it. An odd trilogy that I fell in love with that if you ask me what it’s about, I’ll look at you blankly.

Ryder and his men team up with Syn and her coven to undercover the killers taking down their people and strange, unforeseen connections are being made….
