It definitely smells pretty and really light while still giving a very slight musk smell that kind of gives it a bit of a playful sexy attitude to it. Bombshell opens with a burst of citrus and fruit, so sweet-tart and juicy it could make your salivary glands ache. It is, perhaps, the most cheerful scent I own, promising sunny days even if it lacks the power to deliver them. I'm sorry but I don't wanna smell like thousands of flowers and wood and insense in the middle of summer. This floral green fragrance has a blend of aldehydes, orange blossom, lavender, neroli, bergamot, spices, narcissus, clove, tonka bean, benzoin, vetiver, and cedar notes.There is something special in here I have overlooked (not the alleged bug spray effect, but that is just a bonus). It's a little disappointing but I can live with it being my emergency deodorizing spray that I keep in my purse.

Went in to VS today to try as many scents as possible, of course I had to pick up the iconic bombshell. I'm not sure if it's the overflow of fruity top notes or what but this smells nothing like the notes listed. This perfume drove him crazy, out of all the other more expensive, sexy/romantic perfumes I had; this one was his all time favorite.The Grapefruit and the passion fruit really stand out for at least the first 20 minutes, making it quite fresh, tart, and fruity. Although it can start off either sweet or fruity, once it has dried down it has a really nice clean scent. all the reviews I was reading about VS perfumes put me off and made me think people would think I smell cheap.

Shoutout to Bare as well which I got a small gift set of for my mother and the Deep Water for men with its cooling and aromatic qualities. i mostly get a zesty, citrus at first when sprayed, then a floral with a slight touch of fruit (maybe strawberry? I do appreciate the lack of lemon in this fresh scent, which turns me away from many as it's too astringent unless it's balanced by some powder or gourmand notes.I am now 27 and too old for this I feel, but I do wear around the house and with my fiancé, he likes it. I'm going to try layering this with PINK's latest Warm and Cozy (2023- passionfruit, vanilla, toasted coconut) and see how it goes. Fortunately it appears 'Amber Romance' also has the lucky side effect of repelling bugs, so I bought that too as a mist just incase and it's a little more mellow.
