Those comments about play dough is only apparent in the initial spray- 10mins especially when you sniff it directly on spray point on air or scent bubble this is beautiful. Gourmet, seductive face is additionally accentuated by liquorice which is one the key ingredients of the entire Hypnotic Poison line. What would I WEAR with this perfume: Casual dress, loose but cute up-do, skirts, sweaters, classic black dress while looking very natural. I wear it constantly everyday until it’s gone and near the end of the bottle start to pick up a dirty note that makes me feel unclean when I wear it. Like some of you, these were the 2 things that I picked up on the most when I had sampled her, and that I absolutely loved.

Longevity is also a +++, in the end you just smell the small traces of what used to be almond and it feels very intimate. This one smells like thick creamy almond, slightly soapy, cocunutty, but the liquorice let's you know it's a Poison. I never got the coconut in this perfume, it is a vanilla and almond bomb on my skin, my skin seems to bring out the sweet notes in perfumes. If you can find a licorice body oil or single note licorice perfume to wear under this one you can get the original vibe back. When the vanilla starts to unfurl I am enveloped in clouds of waffles with vanilla ice cream and shaved toasted almonds.

I would expect something deeper, more sensual, or a bit more complex to garner the name and bottle style of this fragrance. From the moment I got this perfume as a present years ago, it became for me as a must have for all seasons and occasions. I wouldn’t wear this during a hot summer day though (for those days, I love vanilla rose scents), but even if I did, it doesn’t perform that bad. i got a comment before saying this doesn't smell like beer but I think they just don't know what root-beer is.

I still fully get why people love it, but to me it says overworn, overused, I get the same reaction to a yet another Baccarat dupe.

WHERE would I wear this perfume: Movie night, brunch, beach, diner date, park, camping, girls night out, museum. LPRN eau de cough syrup pissed me off but I'm of the opinion that if you like it, you have a high chance of liking Hypnotic Poison EDT.
