While driving home with his young son, Joe Lynch spies his wife’s Melisa’s car turn into a hotel parking lot. Whilst there is plenty of action with dubious characters all telling Ellen to trust them, the whole thing makes no sense until the identify of baby Mia is revealed well over halfway through.

Ellen meets a woman on a train with a small child, not realising that her life is going to change forever. Although like Ellen I had worked out the perpetrator shortly before the ultimate showdown this does not spoil the enjoyment as you have no idea what the results are going to be! The train pulls into a station and she is stunned to see the mother hurrying away down the platform, without looking back. I recently read ‘Lies’ by TM Logan and enjoyed it so much I decided I would have to read more by this author.Joe Lynch did when his young son, Will, spotted his wife’s car in traffic, he followed, intrigued as she turned into a hotel car park. Sięgnęłam dość spontanicznie - gdzieś tam zobaczyłam okładkę, wciągnęłam na listę, a że nie należy do żadnej serii, to chwilowo była w sam raz. The situation is made worse for her by being left a note with the baby that says “don’t trust anyone”. This book managed to shock, delight, and amaze this thriller-lover with every single turn in the plot.

He is a wonderful father and loving husband, and in a flash, his life falls apart when he is accused of wrongdoing. My books have sold more than two million copies in the UK and have been translated into 22 other languages including French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Korean, German, Hungarian, Serbian, Romanian, Greek and Dutch. A baby is all Ellen has wanted, as she cannot produce her own biological child, so being forced to protect Mia means Ellen taps into her motherly instincts and will do all she can to ensure her safety.Twisted, dark, heart-pounding, deceptive, distorted fun—do not start this book if you don’t have time to stay up late into the night reading it! His novel The Holiday was a Richard and Judy Book Club pick and became a Sunday Times bestseller in paperback. These are pretty basic questions but in this novel issues are advanced through facebook postings, tweets, cellphone messaging and syncing. Can Ellen get to the bottom of why Mia was abandoned by Kathryn that day and who is apparently wanting to do her harm?

Lies: From the million-copy Sunday Times bestselling author

M. Logan starts out with a shocking event right out of the gate, expertly grabbing my attention and holding it all the way to the end! If you’re looking for a fun, fast read to end your summer with, this might be the right one for you! It has since won a Nielsen Bestseller Award and been made into a four-part TV drama starring Jill Halfpenny (currently available on Netflix UK). Joe's life devolves from respected teacher, loving husband and father, to murder suspect on the run. While I felt for Joe, I was also super-frustrated by his inability to see what was happening right before his eyes.W pewnym momencie nie wiedziałam już, co i jak, kto jest tym dobrym, a kto miesza, a gdy przyszło co do czego, otworzyłam szeroko oczy z zaskoczenia. At first, she heads off to the security guard on the train, but they are dealing with football hooligans on the train. Logan does well to pace the unveiling of secrets, but I do think the culprit is a tiny bit predictable - just because there's almost too much evidence given to make you think it is someone else. Now the sensible thing would be to immediately raise the alarm but then this would be a very short book. I think Ellen that was minding her own business that fateful day may have needed the help of someone like the awesome Mr Neeson!

Lies by T.M. Logan | Goodreads Lies by T.M. Logan | Goodreads

My latest thriller The Mother is a twisty tale of deceit and betrayal, of redemption and revenge - the story of a woman wrongfully convicted of the very worst crime and her fight for justice. The fabric of our lives can seem so thin when it is suddenly pulled out from under us, never more so than when it has been woven with lies, one overlapping another. Ellen is about to raise the alarm when she discovers a note in the baby’s bag, three desperate lines scrawled hastily on a piece of paper: Please protect Mia Don’t trust the police Don’t trust anyone Why would a mother abandon her child to a stranger? The back is blank except for a handful of words scrawled hastily in the centre, in messy black biro. It's not that I didn't like the twists and turns more just the constant use of them to close each chapter started to come across as cheesy rather than fun and jaw dropping. All told though if you put that to one side its a superb read, doesn’t make much sense anno, it’s hard to put in words great writing and not such a good story! William begins to have an asthma attack, and Joe makes a split second decision that will change his life—he leaves Ben where he is and rushes his son home. Unsolved murders, multiple suspects, secrets and the fear of trusting the wrong person keeps this novel ticking along to it's dramatic conclusion.
