Described as a “French Riviera Gin”, The Gardener Gin has been crafted by Master distiller and Gin Guild Lifetime achievement award winner Tom Nichol, and is set to make its debut at the Cannes Film Festival later this year. I liked the writing and the style of this book - the characters were reasonably well fleshed out too.

It twangs on every heartstring, presses every button and is utterly irresistible… It’s lovely stuff – glossy lifestyle glamour with a soul.British gardeners blended their own styles into these gardening techniques, which influenced later French-style gardens. I would have liked to know more about the scrapbook itself, but it was a nice device to link the two time periods together.
