I didn't care for the non-story parts, like the trivia, as it seemed that the book didn't really know whether to be educational or a magical mystery.But then reflecting on that matter, I was reminded that the premise of this book is pretty much the same as a rather mediocre (or so I hear) film series. Timothy recruits Oscar to help him find his baby brother before the clock strikes one and the ‘magic hour’ is over. Animals, dinosaurs, transportation, ancient civilisations and important people from history share fascinating facts with fun lift-the-flap doors.
