The Book of Stolen Dreams will make a welcome addition to the shelf of any fan of middle-grade fantasy.

So that was the personal inspiration for Robert and Rachel Klein and their journey away from the land of Krasnia. Of course, this goldfish-brain existence can’t last: Cyan discovers messages coded into bleached whalebone and the Method really does not suit one new arrival. On their travels they meet a wonderful cast of characters who all play their part in helping the children on their dangerous quest.

President Charles Malstain will stop at nothing to get this strange tome, and the siblings must use all their guile to keep it safe and understand its uses as they are pursued, befriended and betrayed.

The Book of Stolen Dreams is an absorbing, tense adventure set in a timeless city, where two siblings risk everything to try to bring to an end a ruthless dictatorship.

As his omniscient narrator observes with the mix of hard-won acceptance, hope and love for humanity that echoes throughout The Book of Stolen Dreams, 'Such is life, my friend. With their father captured and everyone hunting for the Book, they must uncover its secrets and track down the final, missing page.
