Enies Lobby: 9/10; the sea train stuff can feel a bit dragged out but overall excellent, with arguably the best scene in the entire box set, if not the series. Along with these thrilling, action-packed stories, the box set also includes an exclusive premium booklet and double-sided color poster.

Since this box set has multiple arcs, I’m going to be logging this multiple times as I finish the arcs to come back and review. I know why since they want to save him for last fight, but the silly ways he gets stuck, or too full got frustrating after a while. They are constantly getting into fights with people to the death, but even if they should be dead (good or bad guys), the amount of people who actually die in these books can be count on one hand. I will say that the books are quite hard to get back into the box itself though, it’s a tight squeeze. This focuses really heavily on dreams but also ties back to early scenes from the series, and sets up what’s to come.

Biography: Eiichiro Oda began his manga career in 1992 at the age of 17, when his one-shot cowboy manga Wanted! We pay respect to the Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. Long Ring Long Land: 7/10; I mostly skipped this in my side by side anime watch but in the manga it’s a solid arc without too many implications. One thing I really don't like is that with the scope of the fights increasing the black and white medium of manga caused me to often not understand what's going on in the frame, getting me to reach for the digital colored version at times to comprehend the scene.

The length of the story brings about incredible pay offs and gives the story more than ample space to be told. The themes of betrayal running throughout this arc ties together so well and it has a great flashback and solid series of supporting cast. I read this second batch of chapters via Shonen Jump app, not a boxed set but I figured this would be the easiest way to log. But his life changed when he accidentally gained the power to stretch like rubber - at the cost of never being able to swim again! Also love the fact that the box contains the newest printings, which have small labels printed on each of the spines with the corresponding arc.

On that matter, I hesitated between giving this one 4 or 5 stars since I did feel like the Water 7 arc was too long but I attribute that to watching part of it in anime format; in the manga, everything flows quickly and things rarely feel like they are being dragged. While it doesn’t progress the main plot, the character development is important and there’s a lot of detail you won’t want to miss. However it is nice to know that there was always space for this extra story telling to be told to us. But his life changed when he accidentally gained the power to stretch like rubber… at the cost of never being able to swim again! i didnt see anything on the product listing saying it was second hand, and by the way it was shrink-wrapped, i can only assume it is genuinely new, but this is quite disappointing as a first purchase.
