The articulation is the same as that release, with double jointed elbows, and an articulated waist hidden under the soft vinyl overlay for a more seamless torso.The details are what you'd expect from a company like this, and the accessories add that extra fun when displaying. I did like that he could hold the mask accessory, though it’s sized just right to act as a head sculpt for those that want to. Heavy black soot style paint is scattered throughout the figure, more concentrated on the upper left side, and fades out nicely from there. The head sculpt is a nice improvement over the original 2018 Michael Myers figure, though that has seen a running change with a more accurate portrait recently (sorry, don’t have that one in-hand). A tougher and more costly find, Funko Pop Michael Myers includes a limited chase variant featuring a glow-in-the-dark mask for Myers. The right hand (the grip hand) has a very tight grip, so I do recommend warming that a bit before trying to have him hold the knives, as I’ve run into issues in the past with that knife design breaking while trying to place in tight grips.The head sculpts have some especially impressive paint applications, as the mask has mixes of blacks, grays, and subtle yellows covering a mostly white face. The figure also features a Judith Myers headstone accessory and a carved Jack-O-Lantern with a light-up feature, both of which can be placed in proximity to the figure to create a more detailed Halloween scene. The biggest addition is the all-new head sculpt, which features heavy burn marks on the left side of the face, and a bloody gash on the right cheek.
