The constant "will-they-wont-they" dynamic has created some hilariously awkward moments throughout the series. The story doesn't lack in supporting characters with Kai's group of friends, they are all likable even though the height-difference couple is quite amusing to see. seriously, what falls in love with this are the couples(yes, everyone has someone, so happy ending, right? The characters have their own personalities and oddities:from the black and long haired tsundere priestess to the popular ikemen with the girls but who feels insecure when they finally discover love.

Like My Dress-Up Darling, Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War is a seinen romantic comedy with an unpredictable sense of humor.

It is annoying that they are usually abruptly thrown in and removed here and there whenever the plot needs them. A rapey line here, a strange step-sibling thing in the past, a couple side characters that weren't *as* interesting. Her worst trait is probably her denseness that some are finding annoying that is causing all the drama in the story.

One of the interesting things about this series is that it is focusing on the main boy dialogue more than the girl, which makes the series refreshing. I really liked that it was in his perspective, it's so rare to find a nervous dorky boy in shoujo manga I can't help but love this! Kai's been planning on a forever-relationship with Riko from the start, but what if this news brings everything to a screeching halt? Most shoujo focuses on the main girl's struggle but this one puts us in the main boy shoes and his struggles and it was super adorable. The female lead is not annoying like in so many shoujo manga, she is strong and unique in her own way.proves that being at the right place at the right time is important, but so is getting the entire context of a situation. It's a new set of spooky tales in the Mieruko-chan Anthology Comic, including works from Michiru Noroi, Yakan Nabeya, Aki Mizuki, and more!

Unlike the previous two or three books in the series, the action in this one is almost entirely emotional. I won't be greedy and say I want an anime version of this already of 18 volumes of their entire high school life charted out day by day, but I'm definitely wishing and praying that this goes on serialisation for at least a couple of volumes! Though she's intimidating at school, she works at a maid café on the side to make ends meet and support her sister.

Riko, despite spending most of her time at home alone, is still a child, and just because she rarely saw her mother around the house didn't mean that she wasn't comforted by the fact that her mother was nearby. Kimi No Todoke is an emotional and poignant love story that brings this introverted girl together with the outgoing Shouta Kazehaya. Kyo and Yuki don't like this side, as the angry side of Haru is an unashamed pervert, which at one point earns him a double whack to the head for attempting to hit on Tohru. The author just shoves the two other couples (Kiyo+Miki and Tarou+Kagura) into the story whenever it seems convenient.
