So, while he is the first to admit that he is still only a ‘trainee farmer’, he clearly still has work to do. We at Penguin Random House Australia acknowledge that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the Traditional Custodians and the first storytellers of the lands on which we live and work. For everyone who knows Jeremy Clarkson, you know that some of the jokes made might not be appreciated by everyone, so this book definitely won’t be to everyone’s tastes. It’s easy to read, because it is meant for newspaper readers to have something interesting and entertaining to accompany their coffee and bagel (or Sunday Lunch). Unfortunately I counted three needless passing yet mocking references to transgender people which serve no purpose whatsoever but to simply make you cringe.

SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLERGet ready for season two of Clarkson's Farm with the brand new bestseller from our favourite welly-wearing wannabe farmer, Jeremy Clarkson ___________Welcome back to Clarkson's Farm. Jeremy takes us back to another year of life as a gentleman farmer at Diddly Squat - what could possibly go wrong this time? The small illustrations are ded good when each chapter arrives; nice that Kaleb Cooper and Cheerful Charlie get mentioned quite as bit also. Farming life is obviously difficult for Clarkson and his frustration comes out through the pages of this book. It’s very funny and have some interesting perspectives on eating local meat and environmentalism in the UK. I read this book sooner than planned because I wanted something quick and easy to read, and this was the perfect book. He wants to see robot tractors invented, which would use electric shocks to kill weeds instead of chemicals.

Or whether would have been easier to get planning permission to build a nuclear power station than to turn an old barn into a farm restaurant? It is just an amazing book, so if, like me, you enjoy agricultural and business/ comedy books, it is a must read. I do feel sorry for Jeremy,I didn’t realise how hard the government and local councils make it for farmers. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I read this in 24hrs ahah, it’s a collection of his Sunday Times columns on the trials and tribulations of farming.
