Description

Parblo Coast 16 Pro is suitable with Win 11/10/8, Mac OS X version 10.10 or above. It could connect with parts of Android system which have Computer mode. Interestingly, the pen designs are different for Coast 12 Pro (bottom), Coast 16 Pro (middle) and Coast 22 Pro (top). They are interchangeable though and can work with other the other two pen displays.

to solve Coast10 black screen or no image? - Parblo Support How to solve Coast10 black screen or no image? - Parblo Support

This is the Parblo P10 pen. The body is matte textured and comfortable to hold. The pen is not powered by battery so no charging is needed. I would recommend this if you’re open to a drawing tablet with a bigger display and a screen you can actually see, but requires effort to configure. This is likely a better on-screen alternative than the Huion GT-190, but the two are very comparable when it comes to price and functionality. When using the device it feels so gentle and smooth that you might compare it with any smaller-sized Wacom. I can’t say that I’m super familiar with the Parblo line, but this particular model is fantastic and makes drawing a lot of fun. Overall drawing performance is good but is very much dependent on the drawing software you use. With certain drawing apps, the lines may not be able to taper smoothly and sharply. That's the only downside to drawing performance. As someone who doesn't rely solely on a particular drawing app, I could switch to using a drawing app that works better with the pen display and pen. So my overall drawing experience is still positive.

Potential Downsides

The pen display has good viewing angles with minimal colour shift and slight drop in brightness when viewed from extreme angles. Near the edges you might find a very slight skew from the point where you place the pen compared to where the mark gets made. I only notice this within maybe ½-¼ of an inch from the edge. So if you’re looking to save money and want a display tablet that actually works and feels solid then I’d recommend the Parblo Coast10 hands down.

Review: Parblo Coast10 10.1” Digital Pen Tablet

The drawing tablet with screen has a frosted protective film to prevent glare and protect your eyes, and at the same time experience the feeling like drawing on paper. This tablet spans 10.1” and comes with a bunch of accessories like an artist’s glove and an extended USB port.

To Summarize

You may be able to go into the drawing software settings to tweak the lines so that they can taper sharply, but the thing is you have to spend the time and effort to tweak the settings. This would be unnecessary if everything worked alright out of the box, such as with Affinity Photo and Clip Studio Paint which worked really well and did not have any line tapering issues. Here's the bottom line up front. The drawing performance is good, but both Mac and Windows drivers have issues working with dual display setups. Medibang Paint Pro usually works great with pen tablets and pen displays so I'm surprised at the less than ideal drawing performance with the drawing tests. The manual doesn’t explain the process very well so this can be frustrating. The first thing you should try is to uninstall any previous drivers from other tablets. Then you should try installing the Parblo drivers, first the DisplayLink software and then the tablet drivers. Led light: The indicator light is red in "standby" status, and when in normal operation, the light will turn to green.

The top of the tablet comes with a resting place for the pen when not in use. It’s conveniently sized to be large enough for painting, but small enough to feel no larger than a laptop when on the go. All physical components of the tablet will work exactly as you’d expect. The screen is bright and very crisp. The Parblo pen is super light and easily glides across the screen. The only issues you might encounter are with drivers & calibration, but once you get past this step you’re golden. Components & Features A 15.6-inch display is a good size to work with. Compared to A4-sized paper, the drawing surface area is noticeably wider but slightly shorter.Pressure sensitivity does not work with Adobe Illustrator on Mac but works with the Windows version. The matte screen protector provides a nice tactile drawing experience. The pen glides quite smoothly on it. If you’re working off a desktop this will prove to be invaluable to your setup. The extra 4-port USB hub is incredible and the tablet’s ergonomic design makes it easy to draw from any surface. Device Highlights If there’s one consistency with this tablet it’s the build quality. Everything just fits together and it feels like a solid piece of hardware. Driver issues can be solved with patience if you’re good with computers. If you’re not then this may be a challenge to setup.
