It only takes moments to make, just add 25ml to 125ml Tomato Juice and then add booze if you choose. Our second Gin, is our Pink Gin which is inspired by Wimbledon Tennis (just up the road from our original micro distillery), tasting of Strawberries & Cream, it’s a celebration of British Summertime, whatever the time of year.

The Mix was borne out of a frustration that Bloody Marys are generally badly made and don't taste great. Or are really hard to make at home because you don't have all the ingredients. Bloody Bens Bloody Mary Mix solves these problems. Make perfect Bloody Marys every time with our unique Bloody Mary Spice Mix. Just add 25ml to 125ml Tomato Juice (and Booze if you choose). Now we've launched our spiced tomato juice - this makes it even easier to enjoy a perfect Bloody Mary! No more having to remember to have tomato juice in the house. You just need to decide if you're going to add booze or not. The Bloody Mary Spice Mix is Vegan, Gluten Free and Non-Alcoholic and lasts at least 3 months in the fridge once opened. Simple answer is flavour. Yes, you can find Pre-Mixed Spicy Tomato Juices out there and a select few even contain alcohol but they hardly have any flavour. Our Spice Mix is intentionally intense and will give you a much greater depth of flavour.A: This bottle will actually help you make 12 Bloody Marys. It lasts 3-6 Months once opened, whereas Bloody Marys that come with Tomato Juice only last 2-3 days. Also, it gives you way more flavour. And, it can be used in cooking, so there's no wastage.

There will definitely be more gins in the future, we want to celebrate the local area – we met with local historian Geoff Simmons who gave us some amazing ideas. Did you know they used to grow lavender and peppermint locally? Also, we’re metres away from an old ammo factory that supplied warships in the Dutch wars and one day that’s going to lead us to making a rum and maybe a navy strength gin.’

BLOODY BENS GIN

For the Gin, we have a small Copper Still where we hand craft in small batches, typically 60 bottles at a time. We started distilling in Earlsfield, South West London (we were Earlsfield’s first ever Gin) and have now made the short journey to Nightingale Lane, SW12. Find us in the downstairs section of the brilliant bottle shop, The Wine Twit. Technically, this is Balham but it’s also a short walk to Clapham South & Clapham Common and Wandsworth Common and Tooting is close by too – a truly SW London Gin. Also, our shelf life is much longer, a spicy tomato juice will only last a couple of days once opened. Our Bloody Mary Mix will last at least 3 months in the fridge once opened. Also, it's award winning; in 2018, Bloody Bens Bloody Mary Mix won a Gold Star in the Great Taste Awards.

The distillery has now expanded from being a side project in a cabinet at the Earlsfield Canteen, to grow with demand with a beautiful 30ltr copper still which has pride of place at the rear of the venue. What led you to want to change one of your restaurants into an expanded distillery and bar? I love that South West London has gin companies, makes a change from everything like this being so East London centric.’ The Signature Gin tells the story of me setting up the business, honey for Wandsworth (where I lived for about 15 years) and orange for Mallorca.’ The Mix was borne out of a frustration that Bloody Marys are generally badly made. Or are really hard to make at home because you don't have all the ingredients. Bloody Bens Bloody Mary Mix solves these problems. Ben’s Canteen is famous for brunch and customers were asking us to bottle our Bloody Mary mix. So, just before Christmas 2017 we did exactly that and the name is a fun one. Also, it’s tough times for restaurants at the moment, so we wanted to create another aspect to our business and another reason for people to be talking about us.’A: It's a Bloody Mary Mix, the bottle contains all the herbs and spices needed to make the perfect Bloody. Add 25ml Mix to 125ml Tomato Juice and then add Vodka/Gin if you want it boozy.

The ingredient to make perfect Bloody Marys. Shake awake your bottle of spiced tomato juice before pouring. Fill your glass with plenty of ice, shake your bottle of spiced tomato juice to wake it up and then add to the glass with vodka/gin and stir for 2 seconds. Recently Bloody Bens launched a strawberry and cream release, SW19 Pink Gin, inspired by the world famous tennis tournament in the neighbouring postcode to the distillery: Wimbledon. It’s a beautifully refreshing gin, that despite a clear strawberry flavour still tastes like a gin with that juniper note coming through to taste. While lots of other pink gins go down the rhubarb, pink grapefruit, raspberry or rose route it’s refreshing to see someone doing something different in a very saturated market. Pink gins are hugely popular right now, what do you think makes your SW19 release stand out from the crowd? Bloody Bens Bloody Mary Mix was created and perfected at Ben's Canteen, neighbourhood restaurants in SW London that were famous for Brunch. Featuring our Signature Gin, inspired by Mallorcan dreaming and London living. It's a traditional juniper forward London Dry Gin with Honey & Orange notes, giving it a delicious and distinctive taste. 43% ABV.It started with our Bloody Bens Bloody Mary Mix. It created and perfected at Ben's Canteen (RIP) neighbourhood restaurants in SW London that were famous for Brunch. Bloody Bens Bloody Mary Mix was created and perfected at Ben's Canteen, neighbourhood restaurants in SW London that were famous for Brunch. Only the cleanest of spirits make it to the top of the sixth bubble-plate. This is collected to make an exceptionally smooth vodka. It’s still a juniper forward spirit and not as sweet as people expect, it isn’t a gin liqueur like many similar products. Also, we didn’t just make the flavour for the sake of it – we’re just down the road from Wimbledon Tennis, the home of strawberries and cream. It’s a nod to that local connection. The label is pretty unique too, it represents those amazing London sunsets you get and celebrating British summers.‘
