Having stormed the singles charts twice before and achieved a No.11 position in the UK National Album Charts, with their 2019 album “Palm Trees and 80 Degrees” and extensive play on BBC National daytime radio, South London’s much-loved Ska and Reggae band return with a brand new album of original ska and Reggae songs The 9-piece Jamaican Rhythm & Blues band from South East London head to Swansea Arena on their “Voices From The Sun” 2023 tour. The song “ Got That Smile” is a classic reggae love song and once again mixes old school with a vibrant and fresh sound. The Dualers write music that you can feel and also relate to. This is one of our favorites on the album. A tune of note was ‘Country Roads’ (the classic John Denver song from 1971) given the inevitable reggae slant – West Virginia substituted by West Jamaica – which was included as a tribute to a close friend who had recently passed away. The Dualers started out in 1999 as a busking duo of Si Christone and Tyber O'Neil [6] (brothers Simon David Cranstoun and Jonathan Lloyd Cranstoun) who could be found on the streets of Bromley, Canterbury, Croydon, Kingston and Romford playing a mix of doo-wop, pop and ska.
