leviastrid were the worst characters in the royal elite series so it makes sense that the fmc is astrid’s spawn bc glyn’s character was so utterly boring and she has the personality of a blank piece of paper.. i don’t understand why killian was so fascinated and obsessed w her.. and naming her glyndon?? JAILLL 💀 (yes i still hold the biggest grudge towards astrid bc of how she treated my bby nicole) creepy. weird. stinky. stale. pervy. disturbed. boring. snoozefest. tedious. flat. you’d think a psychopathic rapist would have some ✨zest✨ to him? but no. Dive in deeper into the storyline and these two were perfect for each other. I don’t think the author could’ve chosen anyone better for the other. When dark and light collided it was a perfect match.

The girls friendship- okay, I love them. the way they are all friends and Remi and Creigh tag along. Remi's Humor is just so good. I have read the epilogue chapters in the nightingale anthology and it was mentioned that Killian was different. He was twisted and his way of thinking worried his parents. That was when he was a kid. Now he is a young man, all in his dark, broody glory, ready to destroy poor little Glyndon. Imagine that. The triggers in this book, like I was positively drooling. Not to mention the fact that he is compared with a young Aiden all the time lmao , that should alone give you a hint of how twisted he is. With the introduction of Malal in the comics, it was inevitable that the deity would find its way into the Games Workshop Chaos mythos and thereby into other products:I’m not going to lie, I think the main reason for my enjoyment had more to do with reading about everyone’s lives and who they’re kids turned out to be. Surprise surprise ! RK managed to give all the guys god complexes and made them broody and blank. How she managed to save Bran and Remi I will never know. I wanted to know more about the relationship between Kill and Asher at the end. I'm happy they worked it out but I really want it to read it. Asher wasn't the best dad, and honestly I understand where he is coming from bc his sister was crazy. But I was upset with Asher, the way he treated Kill. I'm worried about RES as parents bc I'm scared their parenting is not the best, and I know they care for their kids and they can make mistakes but it pains me. I just know this will be my favorite series from Rina Kent, I feel it will beat the Royal Elite series for sure, at least for me. At the beginning it was hard for me to catch up with all the new characters, but the tree of them at the beginning of the book certainly helped. I haven't quite read a book with MMC like Killian with nearly every quality that'll have you thinking, why should we like this guy? Definitely won't go down as the swoon-worthy book boyfriend for many, but I quite enjoyed reading about Killian. The dynamics of this character were full of red flags, but here I am finding some likable qualities ;-) quit smoking for her, but then he also told her to replace his cigarette to keep his hands and lips busy with her pussy #thatwassexytome but boring? that is a plot twist i didn’t see coming. Rina Kent, as an author, is a lot of things but boring ain’t one... until now😅 they had the same conversations over and over. the same interactions. the same weird sex exchanges. Killian literally said the same handful of words over and over: more sweet Killian. He actually makes an effort, but I would’ve liked to see them as a nice couple a little bit longer (like in an extended epilogue lol). I get it. We’ll get their HEA as the series continues, but I wanted more
