This is a short overview of all of LEGO’s Seasonal Winter/Christmas sets for 2022. Of course, we’re all waiting for the unveiling of this year’s Winter Village set, which should be the final piece of the puzzle! We have lots of exciting festivities to enjoy including LEGO Make & Takes and a fun DUPLO Puppet show that will leave you full of the Christmas spirit.

This buildable, educational Frozen castle is ideal for toddlers aged two years and above, and lets fans of the film join main characters Elsa, Anna, and Olaf mini dolls at Elsa’s famous ice castle. Vibrant DUPLO sets are a go-to Christmas gift for kids, and it’s easy to see why. Not only are they fun, they’re educational too - allowing toddlers to learn and develop core skills while they play. Building with DUPLO is not only beneficial to the progression of your child’s fine motor skills; it can also help them become accustomed to learning with the alphabet and numbers.

Most Lego sets are suited to play with from age 4 and up, because of the small parts they include. The special Duplo theme is suited for children aged 1,5 and up. The recommended age is always mentioned on the box.Doc Brown’s time-travelling DeLorean is another thing that’s been released as Lego before, but only as a small, minifigure-sized car. This is a 35cm long recreation that’s much more accurate and includes not only the famous gull wing doors but wheels that fold away for flight and a bunch of optional extras to recreate the car from various points in the trilogy, including a Mr Fusion power source and Marty’s flying skateboard. You still get two minifigures with it, plus the pole used to catch the lighting in the first film. Of course, September also marks the launch of the 2022 LEGO Advent Calendar sets, which should also be considered Christmas/Seasonal sets. The Advent Calendars will be released on 1 September 2022, and this year, we have City, Friends, Harry Potter, Star Wars and Guardians of the Galaxy! Another addition that I think falls into this year’s LEGO Winter/Seasonal collection are these 5 minifigures from LEGO Minifigures Series 23– which has an entire Christmas/Winter sub-group within the 12 character set.

On top of this are a variety of seasonal sets for Christmas, including relatively large models like Santa’s Visit, and simpler models like a Christmas Tree and Santa’s Sleigh. Many modern Lego instructions include a part list at the end of the booklet. In the case of multiple booklets the list might be found in the middle of the PDF.
