An incredible master piece, there is no other perfume like it. I am talking about the original formulation. Can smell wafts of vanilla when on the move but very subdued this is strictly moss the same moss that made vintage hypnotic poison so deep and powerful that’s why it was discontinued This is powdery and nice . The bottle is nice i think. Wore it at home most. It stays on me until few days after,so this is good. Even if im soon 40 i will still wear it now and again.But... Dior Addict has yet to win over my husband in the same way. I'll 'sneak it on' every now and then and in moments he'll ask what I'm wearing and says that its 'nice' or 'okay' but he goes gaga dog drool when I wear Lancome's La Nuit Tresor and in a much more ...visceral way. Go completely dark on any fragrance information for at least six months(deactivate or delete accounts) hours later and wow, I'm impressed. It's still projecting like how other fragrances would for only like one hour, and many would have tapered off by this point. It's still spicy vanilla, but a bit more on the vanilla side now, and projection and sillage still going strong. So I will give this credit in that department. Addict to my nose, is quite a warm, sensual, but understandable fragrance. It isn't swoon-worthy to me, nor is it insane if undersprayed or applied moderately. I actually do not feel as if this pushes boundaries now in today's climate, but it could've been that way in it's early years (nearly 2 whole dang decades ago). I don't really feel as if it's overtly sexy, but I don't profess to understand the mind of a heterosexual male and their preferences, and won't argue with it. *I* don't feel any type of way in this, merely comfortable and warm. It's a cozy fragrance (this is very, very similar to my thoughts on Armani Code Pour Femme...and they have an extremely similar personality). The opening is friuty-floral with nice touch of green leaves. Delightful on skin: soft, fresh, inspiring.

Exactly them, I feel right from the start and up to the finish. I really wanted to like this but, this is so Harsh! Idk what it is its just STRONG, and not in a good way. And according to the notes, it should be at least a like for me. I've tried it different climates tried one spray and walking into it, its just a complete scrubber for me.A sexy bulletproof elder madame & fun loving girly in one. 2012 is close, but its deep creamy/crisp where this is deep creamy/umami. It is a bold, in your face fragrance... yet... it is addictive (as the name tells), a lovely mixture of flowers, spices on an amber/vanilla/sandalwood base.
