Description

In the interest of transparency as always, Amcrest did provide me with this Doorbell, although I requested it from them since lots of you guys were interested in me reviewing this model. Video Review Specs and Features I used the current amcrest integration, camera and sensors showed up correctly even though AD110 is not ‘officially’ supported. ffmpeg_argument to change resolution did not work.

Amcrest 1080P Video Doorbell Camera Pro, Outdoor Smart Home 2

Thanks to @GaryOkie, definitely stay away from HTTP/cgi-bin API for this doorbell camera which will hang this camera and need hard reset. Now lets talk about the all important image quality of the Amcrest AD410, and as mentioned this is a 4 megapixel sensor at 2560 x 1920 with a really nice 164 degree field of view. It is a little bit of a lower frame rate than you might expect at 15fps, however honestly I don’t think that is a big deal for a doorbell camera and in my experience I didn’t find myself needing the extra framerate. My doorbell is running off the initial firmware that was on it when I bought it (Sorry don’t remember what it is currently) and I know there has been at least 3-4 firmware upgrades since so I don’t know if the api is the same or even still accessible with the newer firmware. I did run across a post by an Amcrest employee stating that Amcrest was moving towards a no end user access to the api so If any of what I post works for you, upgrading at some point could end up causing it to stop. chime kit works partly for me, instead of ding-dong, now doorbell just ding or dong. On-camera speaker chimes loud. Notice, only camera_view: live works at this point since AD110 is not officially supported by the amcrest integration. I can’t get image element in picture-element card to work with it either. I installed the AD110 over my existing doorbell according to the manufacturer, using the official Amcrest app to set everything up. The installation was no different from any other video doorbell. 24/7 Recording and Live Monitoring

Amcrest Video Doorbell | Local Storage | RTSP Integration

Just installed my Amcrest AD110 wifi video doorbell the other day, has been testing and integrated into HA. I’m using Home Assistant to capture snapshots and send to our phones via Telegram along with a link to the recorded video. HA also knows when we aren’t home and if the doorbell is pushed, it will play some really loud vicious dogs barking at the door. Install the Portainer add-on and start it up. Once it is running, open the web UI. 2. Add the Container If you have not previously set up MQTT, follow this guide to set up your broker. Also, make sure your configuration.yaml contains "mqtt:" to enable device discovery. Now look at they key - that is the iframes. Blue Iris works best when the FPS and the iframes match. Now this is a ratio, so it should be a 1 if it matches the FPS. The iframes not matching (that you cannot fix or change with a reolink) is why they miss motion in Blue Iris and why people have problems. This is mainly why people are having issues with these cameras and there are many threads showing the issues people have with this manufacturer and Blue Iris. It is these same games that make the camera look great as a still image or video but turn to crap once motion is introduced.ai, ad110, AD410, imp 1051b, ip2m-841, IP3M-943B, IP3M-956B, IP4M-1028B, IP4M-1051B, IP5M_T1179EW, IP5M-1173E, IP5M-B1186EW, ip5m-b1186ew-28mm, IP5M-D1188E, IP5M-T1179E, IP5M-T1179EW, IP5M-T1179EW 28MM, IPM2m-841B, NULL, Other, UNTITLED Turn on lights inside the house if a person approaches while nobody is home to make it look like someone is home Night time performance was also really good, again it did take me by surprise at how usable the footage was, particularly the infrared LEDs combined with the image processing on the camera do a very good job of not just completely blowing out my face which a lot of other cameras do, a really impressive job there. The next hurdle was pulling doorbell presses into HA. Some use a device attached to the chime to detect if the doorbell was pressed and others may use something else but I really wanted to just make the API work and oh boy did Dahua(cause lets face it this is a Dahua doorbell) did this wonky. The only thing I could find in the API that changes when the doorbell is pressed is http:///cgi-bin/configManager.cgi?action=getConfig&name=CallInfo
