EDUCATION bosses have apologised to the Chinese community after racist slurs were found in a secondary school exam paper. It has been composted and filled with nutrients, so that when added to the soil it introduces a wide diversity of beneficial bacteria. These beneficial bacteria readily proliferate through the soil, acting as a deterrent to pathogenic bacteria, providing a safe environment for healthy plant growth. Whoflungdung aids in restricting and reducing the growth of weeds.

The tale is about an encounter between a group of drunk Scots and a young Asian couple at a bus station. The Scots harass the Asian couple saying, ''Fancy a chinky, eh? Deid cat chop suey. Hey - Who Flung Dung!'' Whoflungdung is a certified organic, biologically activated, nutrient rich, weed free, absorbent, super mulch! Organic Fertiliser. I feel the best type of fertiliser is one that not only feeds the plants but helps improve the soil. Organic has this reputation yet today there are many variations from pure organic fertiliser through to those with some adding trace elements. She spoke yesterday about her concern at causing any part of the Chinese community, saying: ''The point of the story is actually to show racism up for what it is - stupid. I am really sorry that I have offended anybody in the Chinese community, that was never my intention, I just feel if you're going to deal with an issue like racism you can't do it politely. I dealt with it in a way that I found appropriate, perhaps different cultures would deal with the problem in a different way.''

Tayside Racial Equality Council (TREC) chairman Dudley Kay, said he was pleased to receive the written apology but stressed: ''We would like to have a representative on the education committee so that we can solve any problems before they are allowed to go this far. Free XGT 40V Max Brushless 125mm (5') Angle Grinder - Slide Switch (Battery & charger not included) Our product of the month this March goes to Whoflungdung, the latest certified organic mulch product from Neutrog. We’re not talking about any ordinary mulch here – Whoflungdung is a biologically activated, nutrient rich, weed free, absorbent super mulch! It’s composted, activated by eNcase and filled with nutrients that when added to soil introduces a wide variety of good bacteria to provide healthy growth and reduce weeds. After a long period of development and testing, it’s finally available to buy in South Australia. These adverts enable local businesses to get in front of their target audience – the local community. Based on my above observation the amount of food needed by any rose plant should equal the amount of nutrients taken from the plant consisting of mostly flowers and pruning’s. It is hard to give a definite answer to how much for it all depends on what you require from your plants and how large the plants are. In most gardens wanting a good display of roses I recommend 1 feed after pruning with the amount roughly 1 handful per average plant with miniatures less and climbers 2-3 times this amount.

The short story, titled Barely an Incident and taken from the book Red Tides, was written by Glasgow-born fiction writer and poet Dilys Rose, a former winner of the Macallan short story prize. I read this book to my 4 year old nephew who thought it was hysterical, not just because of the toilet humour of the story but also because of the amusing illustrations that go along with it.

To feed plants consumers are faced with a multitude of choices and without help it can be confusing. We see advertised Organic, Chemical, Slow Release, Liquid or Animal manure. Signed by SQA awards division director David Elliot, the letters accept that the complaints were ''fully justified''. Representatives of the Chinese community have expressed relief at the apology, but believe it must be followed up with letters to schools around the country to make sure the piece has not had a damaging effect on racial harmony within schools. After nine months of being immersed in this nutrient rich, bacterially diverse environment, the straw has well and truly started decomposing, which makes all the difference when applied to soil. The most important fact any gardener must remember is with any food there needs to be water. Fertiliser no matter what type needs to be dissolved to get into the soil and taken up by worms deeper in the soil profile. For a healthy worm population there needs to be feed, water and low levels of harmful elements. A dark rich coloured mulch that enhances the look of a garden. It is 100% organic and environmentally friendly, as it is made from the by-product of Tea Tree Oil production. Suitable for ornamental gardens, native gardens and can be used on the top of pots. Each bale spreads to 4sqm.
