If they made the MTs accessible but didn't adjust the progression to funnel people towards it I'd be more inclined to accept it, but when you point out that grind is arbitrarily outrageous by design when it really doesn't have to be, we all know it's because they want us to get tempted to spend. It's predatory and psychologically manipulative. 8 out of 10 just feels wrong when these kind of mechanics exist. In general, this year’s edition seems like it’s playing a little more toward the fans who already know the games inside and out. Reversals in particular feel a little harder to execute, with split-second timing windows.
