When a Hero appears in Hela’s domain, the player puts a Soul Mark token on it; when Hela vanquishes that Hero, the player gets the Soul Mark. You win with Hela when you have a combination of eight Soul Mark tokens or Ally cards at the location Odin’s Vault.

THE HELLFIRE CLUB Marvel Villainous: Infinite Power utilizes the existing platinum-selling Villainous game system with new gameplay reflecting the shared universe and interwoven storylines of Marvel’s Villains. As such, Marvel Villainous is not designed to be compatible with previous Villainous games, but allows for increased player interaction and more strategic play. The series of steps required for Ultron to win isn’t simple, but it’s linear, making it the best choice for a new Villainous player among the five Marvel villains.The flip side though is that more players means more time to play. The game says it takes about 20 minutes per player which is relatively accurate though it can easily take more. (Our 2 player games typically ended up taking about an hour or more depending on which characters we were playing.) We find that Marvel Villainous begins to wear out its welcome at the 40 minute mark for our group so playing it with a full four players isn’t something that necessarily benefits every aspect of the game. There can be a lot of downtime between turns which means a lot of time to let your mind wander and get bored. Can kids play? These token boxes will let you store the Power Tokens, Strength Modifiers, and Hela's Soul Marks. When activated these can give you extra abilities that could come in really useful for example being able to pay power to place symbiote tokens from the pool on allies in your control. Only One Can Dominate This World Certain cards with cause a player to place either (a) +1 Strength token(s) or -1 Strength token(s) onto a character. These tokens will be taken from the Vault, and placed on the appropriate character's card. Dominate the Marvel Universe as an iconic Villain! Follow your own twisted path to victory, using sinister abilities to take on other Villains and mighty heroes from across the Universe. Choose from Thanos, Hela, Ultron, Killmonger, or Taskmaster and fulfill your dark destiny!Hook must defeat Peter Pan at the Jolly Roger location, which means getting the Peter Pan card out and then moving him three spaces to the left over the course of several turns. The best part about playing Hook, however, is how many opportunities you get to add actions to your domain by playing certain Item cards, making your domain more flexible. Meanwhile, Kang’s mission is to… well it’s in the name: conquer. He can send his variants to other players’ domains, and end up conquering their spaces, which means he can muscle in on your territory, using the abilities on your locations! This is probably not the Marvel Villainous expansion to start your journey with, but as soon as you’re up and running with the basic rules, it’s definitely worth a look.
