The new plastic free bags leave an awful lot to be desired. They are so fragile, more than 50% of the time I end up with loose leaves floating in my cup which is very unpleasant. I’ve been a Pg tea drinker since I was a little girl and I’ve noticed over the last couple of months that the taste has changed it isn’t as strong as it used to be so I have changed my tea to Twinings Strong English Breakfast and the taste is just perfect The bags kept breaking so I bought some other tea bags (Lidl gold, Lidl red, assam) to try. We did a blind taste test and both described PG as tasteless and watery. Lidl Red came out best so that’s what we are buying now! PG used to be brilliant so I’ve no idea what they’ve done to their tea… New teabags are too big, and the tea now tastes bitter. I'm looking for a new tea now...after always drinking PG Tips.
