It probably is the best of what they could make for it to be a portable device. If the blue tank was increased in capacity to 500ml it would probably then be too big to handle, but having got the Sinupulse I do enjoy just having a large tank and then the "wired" wand to apply up to 750ml of pre-mixed water as needed.
