The Ark Chamber is surprising reasonably priced at €40 for a set with 600 pieces. Will get it on a discount, maybe even an additional one to part out. Personally, my family took me to see Temple of Doom, at the theater when I was 13-14ish years old. I loved the film then and I recently watched it about a month ago, enjoying it even more at age 52. This film has amazing set pieces / scenes that should be depicted in LEGO form. But like yours, which I respect, this is just my opinion.

The depiction of Kali, a real-world Hindu deity, is potentially problematic given LEGO's general avoidance of religious symbols and subjects. However, some might reasonably point out that the Monkie Kid and Chinese Traditional Festival sets already include LEGO depictions of Chinese deities. Moreover, 77013 Escape from the Lost Tomb contains the Ark of the Covenant, which is considered to be a real-world Judeo-Christian artefact. Escape from the Lost Tomb building set provides hours of thrilling adventure with this detailed playset inspired by the Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark film. Help Indy search for the Ark of the Covenant in the snake infested Well of Souls and escape by climbing the massive Anubis statue and finding the hidden passage. With 600 LEGO pieces, this interactive playset will provide endless hours of fun for children and parents together. I'm really curious what Lego will do if China invade Taiwan... This would be a real test for them. " That said, a few copies of 42113 Bell-Boeing V-22 Osprey did manage to escape factories and end up at retail in 2020, and are now highly prized among collectors. If any samples of 77014 The Temple of Doom find their way into the wild, they’ll likely be even more valuable given the licence attached to them – and what would be their incredibly exclusive minifigures.

Before going after the Maharajah, jump over to the handrail on the left. Climb to the left and jump up onto the ledge with artifact piece #10. Curious how it got that far into the production cycle before someone found a reason or two to not release it further. LEGO has provided a statement regarding the apparent cancellation, but we are going to examine this unusual occurrence more closely. Wisdom has been trying to catch you for over five decades, but I surely do admire that even at your advanced age, you are still too fast.” Smash the tool barrel just to the left of the wooden door to get the wrench inside. Use it to repair the engine that runs the lift. Now break the other barrel under the ledge with the slave cage to get a shovel. Use it to dig in the sparkling area on the right to unearth a golden key. Use this in the mechanism under the ledge to raise a whip platform.

PARCEL: In Free Play, after repairing the lift, return to the small, dead-end tunnel on the left, where you found the machine part. Toggle to a character with explosives and blow up the silver bars to get the parcel, along with a purple stud (worth 10,000) and some others. Climb the stairs and fight a few more Thuggees near the cage where the village children are being held.In fairness if they screened every product in the earlier stages then I suspect that a lot more sets would be filtered out as consequence of corporate lawayers and an over-abundance of caution. They probably do this now and sometimes they still slip through. Celebrate the legacy of Indiana Jones™ with this rewarding build as you create the iconic opening scene from the Raiders of the Lost Ark film.

That is the most nondescript answer they could have given, "consolidating the launch". It's obviously not true either, considering that the set had already started to go into production when they canceled it. Always sorry to hear about these late-in-the game cancellations. And the reasons behind them not to mention all the other non-stated reasons. That's some sub-par cg rendering! What's up with that? I hope these images are still not finalized because these seriously remind me of those horrid renderings on today's instructions. With these it's hard to visualize what your set will actually look like in real life!Earlier this year, rumours began to emerge that LEGO Indiana Jones would be returning in 2023, comprising four sets numbered between 77012 and 77015.

As for the sets... the 2008 range was far more economical in depicting these scenes. But the Ark tomb set seems surprisingly affordable at 40 euro. I thought that would be another 60-70 euro price.Images of the sets subsequently leaked and the new range has now been officially announced, with one significant omission, as 77014 The Temple of Doom has seemingly been cancelled. While LEGO product cancellations are relatively common, this example is unusual because this set was exhibited at Nuremberg Toy Fair and images have leaked online. The LEGO Indiana Jones sets has a release date of 1 April 2022 globally, and will be available from LEGO.com, LEGO Stores and most major retailers.
