FN+F=MAC Switch between the multimedia key and standard key in zone F (the keyboard must enter MAC mode first)

The rotary encoder’s knob is removable and replaceable. If you are replacing the knob, just make sure the center of the knob could fit in a plastic post with 8.1mm diameter. There are some for sale at Keydous Taobao store too.RGB Lighting Setting: RGB Wave, Ripple, Rain Drop, Snake, Press Action, Convergence, Sine Wave, Kaleidoscope, Line Wave, Laser, RGB Circle Wave, Dazzing, Breathing, Color Cycle, Music Visualiser 1, Music Visualiser 2)

this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The closest thing to the Keydous NJ-80, with a 75% wireless build and a focus on quality parts, is the excellent Keychron Q1 Pro. And that keyboard has a few distinct advantages over this one: a full metal body, better customization options, and far better software (again, standard QMK/VIA). When it comes to customizing the RGB lighting, the Keydous software offers a bunch of different presets such as dynamic breathing, sine wave, always on, and more. Bluetooth Connection Accessories: Extra Spacebar (Blue, White), Extra Esc Key (Milky white), Extra Enter Key (Milky white) Mac layout keys (Opt, Cmd), Extra Knob (Either Red, Blue or Silver), Keycap puller, switch puller, USB-C Cable (1.5m), 2.4G Dongle, Phillips head screwdriver and user manual (in Mandarin). The space of value-focused mechanical keyboards is getting quite contentious, we are spoiled with the amount of good stuff coming out. That’s Keydous is a brand that should be given kudos for the addition to the space. If simply pressing down the volume knob to mute volume is getting too boring, you can also press Fn+10. In the same vein, you can press Fn+11 to decrease volume and Fn+12 to increase volume. The original charging cable must be used to connect the USB port of the computer for charging, and the charging current should be less than 1A.

The Gateron Pro Milky Yellows, combined with the excellent stabilizers, make the overall typing experience incredibly smooth. FN+Tab= Switch the sleep time of lights. If the Caps light blinks once, it will start to sleep if it is not used for 2 minutes. On the software side, the NJ80 uses Keydous’ proprietary software for all customization features. You are able to remap the main key layer along with one extra layer, however, your options on remapping are pretty limited; plus, there are no media keys. Moreover, you can record macros—which is always nice to see. So I am not exactly sure when this update was released, but I was tinkering about with the Keydous NJ80’s foam and stabilizers, then decided to update the drivers and firmware. So apparently an update was pushed that now allows you to edit the Fn layer. The keys you see in red are the keys that can’t be edited, so it’s quite a bummer that you can’t edit Fn + knob functions… But for the rest, you can edit, and I do think that this allows for some sweet macro capabilities, if you are into that sort of thing. For me, I am just going to add more media controls to the row below the knob. Sweet, sweet typing

WIFI signal interferes with Bluetooth signal to some extent, so bluetooth receiver cannot be too close to WIFI signal source. The 4400mAh batteries sounds large, but in actual it is mediocre to below expectation. Tested on two cycles, the battery on average only last around 40 hours of usage with 2.4G mode and lights off. While charging (Using Original USB-C cable to PC) need around 7 - 7.5 hours to fully charge. Most of the time I’ve been using the NJ80-AP, I’ve been switching between two Bluetooth devices and one on 2.4 G mode. The only issue I had with the switching was one time I forgot I had turned the keyboard off, so it took me a minute to realize why it wasn’t connecting. I had no issue with unexpected repeated letters while typing or any issue with using the WASD keys to move in games. Regardless of the connection type, everything was as good as when using a wired mechanical keyboard. Keydous claims the NJ80’s 4800mAh battery offers up to 28 hours of battery life with RGB on, and up to 90 hours with the RGB lighting off. In my testing, I didn’t find any reason to refute Keydous’ claims, as I never had the NJ80 die on me when I was using it. Of course, hardened enthusiasts will probably not be interested in the Keydous NJ80, with there being no options for other mounting methods other than the rather basic tray mount out of the box. Not to mention that there’s no QMK/VIA support, which limits your customizability to what Keydous offers in the very limited software. However if you are upgrading from a run-of-the-mill mechanical keyboard, the Keydous NJ80 is definitely an excellent option. Conclusion

RGB settings is not the greatest we have seen either. No per-key RGB settings are available, but you get quite a number of common RGB effects that you will find with most gaming keyboards in the market. One thing worth noting is the terrible translation and typos you will find along the way, like Converage. Overall, not the best software. Customization options are really limited, but it should be good enough if you are coming from mainstream mechanical keyboards. A ‘sleeper car’ blends into traffic but hides a roaring engine under the hood. The NJ80 might be called a sleeper keyboard.Open the keyboard power switch, short press FN+44 key light flashing, and insert the receiver into the computer USB port. Keydous did a pretty good job with the keycaps, with sharp, precisely-positioned legends. These are Dye-subbed PBT keycaps, which are actually doing the RGB underneath an injustice. Yes, the Keydous NJ80 does have RGB LEDs, but as the board is South-facing, the LEDs won’t do that great a job of illuminating your regular shine-through keycaps, which often have the legends on the upper portion of the keycaps. This is a very long post intended for those who wants to get this board, I have put in as much details as possible to have clear picture on this keyboard. Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
