Frank Portolese is a jazz guitarist living in Fort Myers, Florida. For 45 years he was a part of the great Chicago music scene. His jazz credits include appearances with Joe Pass, Peter Erskine, Ira Sullivan, Les McCann and Eddie Harris. His pop credits range from Sammy Davis, Jr. to the Drifters and Little Anthony. He has three albums as a leader. He taught jazz guitar at Elmhurst College, the University of Michigan, the Jamey Aebersold camps and the Summer Jazz program at Interlochen.
