From glitter-tastic face bling action and disco flashmob dances, to jive-talking banter, you never know what will be happening at the StarWash!

The first edition of Beyond The Music will take place on 11-14 October 2023 across venues and skylines in and around the city. The global annual event will seek to not only solve the issues being faced today but to produce innovative models for the future. No partner required, as we rotate partners through the class. Then during our social dance time, everybody asks one another to dance. It’s a beautiful thing. A next-generation office and education campus spread over four buildings comprising 650,000 sq. ft of office and retail space, Republic is at the forefront of East London’s commercial and cultural regeneration. Brought on board by Trilogy Real Estate and fund manager LaSalle Investment Management, Workman’s role is to manage the property effectively, while also helping it become a part of the local community. Manchester Central Library has an incredible children’s library that has books perfect for toddlers to enjoy. This is a great way to pass some time in the city centre. Beyond The Music is a new global music conference and festival set to take place in Manchester. More dates here

For more information or to book a space on the next session, please visit here Kids Cinema Club and eat free at MOTLEY Manchester Jane, 20, from Armagh in Northern Ireland said:”I think they are always very cool. They know a lot about random shit that you don’t. Londoners won’t share their food with you – they aren’t generous – but they’re banging in bed so it’s all good. They have sexy accents too.”

Kyle, from Cambridge, said: “The biggest problem with Londoners is they think they’re so great. They’re just so arrogant. London ain’t that fab, and neither are they. They’d push you down the stairs to get on the tube. I mean, sure I’d bang most of them, but that’s neither here nor there.” With other attractions nearby including the Science and Industry Museum, Manchester Art Gallery, Manchester Central Library and the People's History Museum, she added: "This is such a great location for a free play space and I wish every town had one." Welsh Ellie says: “People from Wales are much nicer, I feel like Londoners don’t really care about each other. Maybe it’s because there’s so many of them. And they always complain about the tube. I literally don’t care about your Oyster card.” Entry to Summer Daze is on a first come first served basis. The only element of the outdoor event which is available to pre-book is the fairground. There are books you can grab to read with your child and on Tuesdays there are free story and rhyme time events from Play Maker Events. If you’re worried about running out of ideas for things for kids to do before the end of the first week, we have a line-up of some of the best, and (mainly) free, family-friendly events in and around Manchester to keep them entertained. Summer Reading Challenge at Manchester Libraries From September 2023 to May 2024, our monthly sessions will alternate between Experiment and our Special Exhibitions Gallery, where you can enjoy a playful adventure through Operation Ouch! exhibition. This is another place where you can take your toddler to watch planes for free. Again there is also a nice play area which in includes airport themed play equipment including a control tower. It has developed strong ties with local schools, most recently working in conjunction with Solihull Council to run a competition where local schools were invited to create a flag for their chosen Commonwealth country made of entirely recycled material. The 16 flags then featured as a trail around the centre, with visitors answering quiz questions as they identified each flag. The centre has also fostered links with a local special needs school, with three students attending each week to do work experience. One has since been employed as part of the centre’s housekeeping team. Republic: collaborating with charities
