If you don’t like where you are now you have the power to change it! Just because you made your bed doesn’t mean you have to lie in it. You can remake your life at any moment, if you choose. You never fail unless you don’t even try. It’s not just about attaining the goal but who you became in the process of the pursuit of the goal itself. Create a meaningful purpose statement for the New Year. What is it that makes you feel alive? This “aliveness” is energy. Trust the electrical surge of connection, positivity and happiness the sensation brings to your state of being. This feeling is directly linked to emitting energy. Energy produced triggers a chemical release in the body to create thoughts of action. Thoughts conjured will contribute to connection and produce an outcome of desired action. Your intention is a choice to live life in a way that represents your truth and ultimately what you choose create for yourself. Happiness is a choice. 3) Identify obstacles. Embrace friction and detours that show up. Unfortunately, many of us spend the present moment waiting for something else to happen, or feeling regret or sadness about the past, or anxiously planning what will come next instead of being in the now. As a result, we miss being truly present and the opportunities to nourish, cherish and encourage our growth and potential. The beautiful thing is that when we decide to release our resistance about things not being as we wish they were and appreciate what actually is in this moment, the challenging experience is transformed.

When practicing meditation, we learn how to pay attention and deepen the ability to draw awareness to thoughts, physical sensations, and our reactions to them. In many modalities of meditation, the practitioner is guided to a place of release, calm, and insight. With stillness, we are able to do the deep listening required to heal, manifest, and create the life we want to live. Types of meditation to explore: Buddhist – Zen ( Zazen, seated), Vipassana (insight), Mindfulness (present moment attention), Love and Kindness (Metta); Hindu: Vedic & Yogic- Mantra (syllable/word), Transcendental (provided mantra), Yoga (chakras, third-eye), Self-Inquiry (“I Am”); Chinese: Taoist, Qigong; Guided: (script, in-studio, combination of many forms). 5) Unattach. Change is our only constant. How we react to change is reminder of effort and release. This statement can be extremely difficult to wrap one’s head around when feelings of isolation, sadness, depression, anger, fear, anxiousness or anything else in life that presents itself as less than optimal happens to show up.The message from the last ever episode, was of huge significant in my humble opinion and it was summed up in last conversation between Bran Stark and Jon Snow.... So, perception is important here. How you interpret the events of your life and how your respond matter most. Ask the Universe to help you get out of your own way. When you are able to do so, you can start showing people your higher self and in doing so help them. Force Negates It’s just that popular media glorifies the overnight success, making us impatient little humans who do our best to avoid pain.

You then bring yourself into the flow of life. And you will find yourself to be the right person, in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing, with the right people! This also really marked the first time regular people connected with celebrities; suddenly you might “know” someone linked to a famous singer or actor, and your connection could be apparent to others and elevate your own status. This is also when the word “friend” began to lose its currency. We started calling everyone – even people we’d never met before – a “friend.” Everything has it’s right time and right season. When the mango is ripe it will fall from the tree. You don’t need to force something to be. When you let go of where you think you should be, you allow yourself to be where you are. When you allow yourself to simply be, each moment reveals it’s immense beauty and magic to you, beyond what you could have imagined. You experience the gift of the moment more fully! But when we're constantly focused on the road ahead, as opposed to where we are right now, there are some surprising consequences. So often we judge events as being good or bad, but Buddhism teaches us that these interpretations are mind-made.

If you attain everything in the world but lose your authentic self in the process what’s the real gain? That’s why, whenever I start to panic because I’m not where I thought I was going to be at this point in my life, I remind myself that my story’s not over. I’m still in the middle of it, and that means a lot of success (and failure!) is still ahead of me. 4. Wherever you are is exactly where you’re meant to be.

So when you see others where you want to be and think you should be, rather than contract, simply breathe and bless them instead. Then the space will now open for you to live into that reality. Let those that are living what you aspire to inspire your heart. As you bless them you simply open yourself to be available to that level of goodness manifesting in your life.

Just like we will have moments of great success, moments of absolute perfection, moments where we can’t stop smiling because it feels like everything’s falling into place. When we aren't present in our relationships at home and at work, our relationships can go down the road of routine and slip into auto-pilot mode. Auto-pilot mode and routines helps us master our lives to make them easier to manage, but in turn this can prevent us from welcoming change and uncertainty which are ever increasing realities of both business and life. I am exactly where I need to be, I need to be exactly where I am, I am divinely timed and shining brightly…” ~Amy Steinberg

Sometimes people will say to me, “You’re such an inspiration.” While I want to be emotionally healthy enough to say “thank you” and move on, I actually feel nervous. I can’t help but think about all of my pitfalls and the many mistakes I’ve made.
