High Wire Batman: Might have made more sense as a Robin figure, because circus and what not. Cool accessory and play action, and I kind of dig those yellow highlights on the suit. Batcave Command Central: While playsets can be relatively hit or miss, this one definitely hits. Multiple levels of play, including facades for Wayne Manor, the Batcave, and the exit for the Batmobile, and it even looks like it can fold up for ease of storage and transportation. Can’t go wrong with any of that. Batboat: That there isn’t a larger Batboat toy is weird, so having this included in miniature kind of makes up for that. Kind of.

DC Comics digital-first series available in both digital and print editions; Season One, Two and Three complete and on sale All three current seasons available for streaming on Max, new season four episodes every Thursday on Max The chance to return to that world, with two creative partners who were also involved in shaping it, has been a real thrill for Dini. “Ty Templeton was able to capture all the depth we were trying to go for with the characters and even then some,” Dini shares. “He brought such incredible emotion to the characters and complexity with the stories. To work with him again is a dream come true.” It’s great to see classic DC characters we never had a chance to use in the animated series, like Azrael and Red Hood, appear in animated toy form,” says Dini. I get to work with Paul again and Alan for the first time” he reveals. “You couldn't ask for better scripts to inspire this happy bat-artist.”The first Batman Beyond action figure line made a similar mistake to The Batman Animated series toy lines. Their figures showcased many different versions of Batman Beyond, but didn’t include many of the other characters from the series. The first set included designs like Manta Racer Batman, Lightning Storm Batman, Thunderwhip Batman, and Hydro Force Batman. Of course, the action figures are only one part of this. For the past few months, fans have been getting all-new adventures set within the world of Batman: The Animated Series in the Batman: The Adventures Continue digital first series, written by Dini and Alan Burnett and drawn by none other than Templeton. This bi-weekly comic, set after the final season of Batman: The Animated Series, has been telling the stories Dini and Burnett might have written for characters like Red Hood, Deathstroke and Azrael had the animated series continued. DC Direct first arrived at the idea of creating new action figures in the style and spirit of the classic Batman: The Animated Series after seeing the continued demand for their bestselling action figures based on the series. Bruce Wayne’s Car: If this were a Hot Wheel or something, I might like it more. As part of a line with much more interesting vehicles and characters, it’s just kind of bland.

Along with offering characters that were new to the Batman: The Animated Series world, DC Direct wanted to give fans of the series who had missed out on some of the earlier figures a new chance to add them to their collection. Along with the new characters, the Batman: The Adventures Continue line will also include some older and harder-to-find figures, like the Joker, Robin and Catwoman, with all new cel-shaded paint decos. The Catwoman figure will also come with a brand-new head sculpt of her without her cowl. Collect all additional DC Animated Figures; Superman and Green Lantern as well as other McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse figures . Figures sold separately. Kenner’s next Batman The Animated Series related line was The Adventures of Batman & Robin D.U.O. Force. Seeing its full run over two series ( Series 1 and Series 2), this run of figures included a Wind Blitz Batgirl action figure, but sadly the rest of the figures are simply repainted ones using old molds. Hoverbat: A little over-designed for a vehicle that should be relatively simple, I like this more because of the art on the box. Two-Face looks so mad to have been captured, while Batman has an expression of annoyance as if he missed his exit on the freeway. Amazing. As for Templeton, he just feels “elated…honored…thrilled. All of the good words.” As he explains, “I’m so happy to be any part of this wonderful franchise and all the great moments it’s brought fans.” Batman: A solid, good looking Batman. Very, very basic, though, when most of the other figures look much more interesting. It’s a fun process bringing these characters to life,” shares Fletcher “Working with Ty Templeton just seemed like the perfect fit because we knew he could hit the style needed to make this line a success.”
