I didn't add any salt here as the sauce already has a lot of flavor and the olives are already salted. When combining the cooked pasta and other ingredients be sure to taste test before baking. Yes. However, it is always better fresh because the pasta absorbs the liquid if you leave it uncooked too long. You can make the dish, allow the pasta to cool, sprinkle it with cheese, cover it and keep it in the fridge for no more than 2 days. How To Store? If you aren’t using an ovenproof frying pan, transfer the pasta to an overnproof dish, scatter with the grated cheese and bake as above. Low Fat Grated Cheddar Cheese - you can also use grated mozarella or another hard cheese. Using a full fat cheese will alter the nutritional label. Our tuna pasta casserole make a great weekend dinner, served with garlic bread, salad and homemade coleslaw. Finally, scatter the top with the grated cheese (100g | 1 Cup) and pop straight into the oven. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes until the cheese has melted and just started to turn golden. Season with salt and pepper and taste throughout the recipe. There’s nothing more disappointing than making something from scratch and not enjoying the taste!

Next, add the tuna (1 x 145g | 5.1 oz tin, drained) to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes. Break it apart a little with a spatula. Tinned tuna –for a Slimming World pasta bake you must use tuna in brine or spring water. Albacore tuna is a very tasty option but can be more expensive. Whichever type you buy aim for sustainably sourced and line caught tuna. The brand I grew up with was Rio Mare which is Italian and so delicious! I prefer to use albacore tuna for this, as it's firmer and creamier than regular tuna fish. However it is a little on the expensive side, so you can sub it for regular canned tuna fish if you like and it will still taste delicious! A good tuna pasta bake recipe doesn’t have to be difficult, I know loads of people that want to add fancy ingredients and make it posh, that’s not how we do it here! A good tuna pasta bake is messy, filling and looks terrible. I’ve tried to make it look “posh” and there’s no point! You will just LOVE how simple this easy tuna corn pasta bake is to make. It will fast become one of your go to busy day dinners! Step One – cook the pastaA large pot or pan .Make sure that you’re using the right size of pot or pan, as you’ll be mixing all of the ingredients in it after making the sauce. Oh, just to be clear – it’s normal human tuna. Whatever is on special at the time, and I get the little cans so I had to use a bunch of them to make this big batch of Tuna Pasta Bake.

Cheese – Cheddar is always my favourite for this (well, I am English!). You can swap for whatever you have in your fridge to add a different flavour dynamic though. Reheat:Reheat in the microwave or in the oven. If the pasta is too dry, add a splash of water and reheat. Mix before eating. Pasta and tuna are a match made in heaven – and there’s loads of ways you can add your own twist to our tasty pasta bake recipe! Add the veggies, parsley, tuna and cheese sauce to the cooked pasta and mix well. Top with the extra cheese. You can also bulk cook, make a tuna pasta bake and use them for lunches, maybe you have children and you wanted to put some in their lunches! Forget boring sandwiches and send them with a pasta dish instead, how fun! Tuna Pasta Bake Recipe Equipment

Can you freeze it?
