If you don't want to play solo, you can always invite your friends or family to play in the multiplayer mode! Choose your character skins, golf clubs and compete in a tournament for the title of the best golfer!

My biggest problem is that it's signing out so many times even though my internet is okay. It's so frustrating. It also takes a long time to find other players to play against. Then suddenly on hole 4 you're signed out...It’s worth noting that this is a very short game which banks on people wanting to replay it and try out new tactics. While it’s certainly not a game that you’ll be able to keep playing for days on end, it’s a fun experience that encourages you to think creatively and try out new things. It can be played alone, but Infinite Minigolf is at its best when you’re competing against friends. With full local multiplayer support, you’ll score points for putting your ball in the fewest shots as well as hitting various collectibles that are dotted around every course. It’s not the most serious golf game on Switch, but it sure is a lot of fun. Infinite Minigolf is a lighthearted, arcade style game that has plenty of game modes and content to keep you occupied. There are solo tournaments and maps to explore, and plenty of multiplayer options as well. Although Ubisoft’s Sports Party game includes a range of sports other than golf, it’s still one of the best golf games on Switch right now. It offers up perhaps the most realistic golfing experience on the console, even if it is a bit limited. Players all hit their golf ball at the same time in Party Golf, making for a beautifully chaotic and silly game. This may sound like it would be too messy on screen, but Party Golf has a surprisingly pleasant, simplistic style that makes it easy enough to follow along with. It’s a genius gameplay mechanic, and lends itself to the many game modes available within the game itself.

Why? Well, it’s clearly been designed with love, and with only one goal in mind: for its players to have a riotous, hilarious time. At first glance it might look like a normal golfing game, and indeed, your goal is always to get something to the flag on the green. We say ‘something’ because rarely is it a regular golf ball you’re putting. Fling a golf club across the screen? That’s more like it in What the Golf?. The best levels are those that poke fun at other games: we love the levels based on SUPERHOT and Angry Birds. If you’re yet to play this, do so pronto. Could it be better? Definitely! Hopefully they will include some courses and fix the bugs at a later point, but for now I'm just trying to get my swing together and learn how to play. The game mechanics in Golf Peaks are deceptively simple. The aim of the game is to get the ball in the hole in as few moves as possible, but there’s a layer of intrigue added with a card mechanic that dictates how many spaces you can move in one go. As the game develops, you’ll have to contend with more puzzles, styles of shot and obstacles. Command your Clubhouse with Online Societies. Run full seasons and tournaments and earn bragging rights on the course. Create entry rules and requirements as well as handicap and event settings. There is a limited multiplayer option available, for two players only. It would have been great to see this title include even more multiplayer options, but the two player option works well and is enjoyable to play through with a friend.Golf games might not be quite as popular as they used to be. We had a drought for years with no official PGA game. And we had to wait far longer than we’d have liked for a new Mario Golf game. But all that said, there’s still a healthy selection of golf games on Nintendo Switch, and we’ve rounded up the best of them right here. Party Golf is an absolute gem, and it should be one of the first ones you consider when you’re looking for the best Nintendo Switch golf games on the market right now. Mario Golf: Super Rush Create and personalize your MyPLAYER with equipment and apparel from brands you love. Design your ultimate course with 1,000s of custom options. In this game, you swap out your typical golf clubs and courses for a handful of powerful explosives and puzzling layouts to work through. You have to add explosive devices to your golf ball in a strategic manner to get it into the hole, navigating physical hurdles and difficult maps along the way.

The general premise behind Golf Club: Wasteland is that you’re a solo golfer named Charley who is playing the world’s last game of golf. Earth has been abandoned, with all the rich people moving to Mars, and the 35 unique courses that you play through in this game show off the desolate landscapes and empty buildings left behind. There are difficulty settings so you can adjust the game to suit you (we won’t judge if you prefer an easy win), and, like any golf game on Switch should have, Neo Turf Masters has multiplayer options. You can either battle it out with players around the world for a high score, or get a friend to join you locally for a two-played battle. It might not look quite as realistic as some of its more modern counterparts, but Neo Turf Masters has a whole lot of charm all the same. 8. Infinite Minigolf This game is certainly unique, and it’s suitable for both experienced gamers and new golf fans alike. The dog puns certainly help with this, too. It’s lighthearted and fun, and the pixelated world is incredibly fun to explore as you progress through the game. Infinite Golf 2 If you’re looking for a hardcore, technical game that requires lots of skill, this isn’t the game for you. However, if you’re hunting for a slightly strange take on a classic game, I’d suggest adding What the Golf to your Switch library immediately. Golf PeaksIf you’re after a serious golfing game on Switch, then you can’t do better than PGA Tour 2K21 right now. After creating your character, PGA Tour 2K21 allows you to embark on a sizeable career, working your way up from the bottom. Along the way you’ll earn a host of rewards, including money that can be used to buy new clubs and clothing options, allowing you to customise your character even further. Outside of the career, you can even design your own courses before sharing them with others. Prove you’ve got what it takes to become FedExCup Champion. Take on PGA TOUR Pros during your very own career, earning rewards and gear along the way. Additional games, systems and/or accessories may be required for multiplayer mode. Games, systems and some accessories sold separately.

Play against Justin Thomas and 11 top pros on stunning, real-life courses including TPC Sawgrass, East Lake Golf Club, and more. This is one of my favorite games on the list by far. It’s fun and offers a unique POV on the golf video game niche, creating an enjoyable experience for anyone who’s a fan of the RPG genre. Party Golf Infinite Minigolf is a premium example of a modern mini golf game for the Switch. It’s a great party game, and offers lots of solo play options as well. It plays well, the controls aren’t too complex and the user generated maps make it very enjoyable to play through. What the Golf?

This game is all about speed, precision and decision-making. Compete in tournament mode on random maps with different rules. Score as many points as possible by hitting the ball in the center of the target, be first in a race to hit the ball into the hole before others do, or find the best way to beat everyone in a mini-golf with various obstacles! While playing a golf multiplayer game, you typically might expect to wait for other players to hit their golf ball before it’s your turn. It’s a simple rule of golf , and Party Golf flips this upside down perfectly. I love golf, and though I haven't played any golf in about 15 years, I really wanted to have a proper golf game for my switch.
