Rodimus Prime's appearances in "Decepticon Air" and "Endgame, Part II" were excised when the episodes were cropped to standard definition. However, his presence in the episodes was revealed when they were later broadcast in wide-format HD on The Hub. The torso was later reused for fellow die-cast Titan Masters Thunderwing, Ultra Magnus, and Scorponok.

Fire Rodimus was among the many alternate universe incarnations glimpsed by Primax 512.5 Gamma's Hot Rod Destiny, Part Three and was also summoned to Primax 512.5 Gamma to fight the Dark Matrix creature. The War to End All Wars, Part 5 Dubbed "Hot Rod Blue Clear Version", this redeco of the oft-used Classics Rodimus mold is cast in transparent blue plastics, emulating the scene in The Transformers: The Movie where Hot Rod catches the Matrix of Leadership to keep it from hitting the floor after a dying Optimus Prime dropped it.
