Rodimus Prime's appearances in "Decepticon Air" and "Endgame, Part II" were excised when the episodes were cropped to standard definition. However, his presence in the episodes was revealed when they were later broadcast in wide-format HD on The Hub. The torso was later reused for fellow die-cast Titan Masters Thunderwing, Ultra Magnus, and Scorponok.

Fire Rodimus was among the many alternate universe incarnations glimpsed by Primax 512.5 Gamma's Hot Rod Destiny, Part Three and was also summoned to Primax 512.5 Gamma to fight the Dark Matrix creature. The War to End All Wars, Part 5 Dubbed "Hot Rod Blue Clear Version", this redeco of the oft-used Classics Rodimus mold is cast in transparent blue plastics, emulating the scene in The Transformers: The Movie where Hot Rod catches the Matrix of Leadership to keep it from hitting the floor after a dying Optimus Prime dropped it. Of interest is the fact that all the plastic parts are translucent, even the usually "softer"/unpaintable/never-clear nylon parts—a trend not seen on any other "clear" toys produced before.Studio Series has always allowed fans to reach past the big screen and build the ultimate Transformers collection inspired by iconic movie scenes from the Transformers movie universe. Now, the Studio Series line is expanding to include the epic moments and characters from the classic 1986 The Transformers: The Movie, bringing fans a whole new series of screen-inspired figures to collect! (Each sold separately. Subject to availability.)

If the Autobots decided to rescue Sarah immediately, Scavenger dropped the woman, and cried for help while attempting to flee. Released as part of Walmart's Autobots Unite subline, The Last Knight Legion Class Hot Rod transforms from a robot into a fictionalized Lamborghini Centenario with an added spoiler. Following their heroics at Miliarium, Team Rodimus travelled to Necroworld, finding a vengeful Decepticon Justice Division waiting for them. Trying to call for help, the Autobots found that Getaway had taken over the Lost Light, the majority of the crew disgusted at Team Rodimus' acceptance of Megatron. How Bright Their Frail Deeds Salvation for the resource-starved group when Skids sacrificed himself to supercharge everyone to outlier levels of power, Rage, Rage buying enough time for Megatron's gambits to defeat the DJD. Do Not Go Gentle Masterpiece Hot Rodimus transforms into his iconic supercar mode, but does not transform into Rodimus Prime like the previous iteration. He is the same size as the other Masterpiece Autobot cars, and because of that he fits in both MP-10 Convoy and MP-22 Ultra Magnus's trailers in altmode. He comes with some of the accessories the MP-9 mold also had, like the guns, the retractable visor and the buzzsaw, but he also comes with a new accessory, a fishing rod that allows you to recreate his first scene in the movie. His chest also includes a Matrix chamber where the MP-10 Matrix can be stored.Figure also includes 2 movie-inspired blasters and 2 blast effects, and features buzz saw and spark welder hand attachments inspired by the scene where Hot Rod slices through robot kelp and giant squid tentacles, then repairs Kup. Rodimus's "popped collar" was apparently inspired by Hot Rod fan and TFcon staff member, Daniel "Protoman" Arseneault. [3] For a short time, Takara had contemplated releasing a Hot Rodimus (Hot Rod) toy as the next Binaltech release after Ginrai, but that plan became obsolete when Takara decided to cancel the Binaltech line as a mass retail line altogether. Instead, Hot Rodimus ended up as part of the Kiss Players line, after "Ginrai" had previously become Kiss Players Convoy. This is the closest to a realistically proportioned Hot Rod that is not repainted or retooled from another figure. It does, however, have a very similar transformation to Robots in Disguise Legion Class Sideswipe.
