The guys - oh these guys. They all have my heart as the darkness that their parents have woven around them threaten to drown them all. Only the light of Lilly’s love saves them as the twists and turns take a darker edge. I love how each of them didn’t break, they only become stronger and more cunning. Loki, Jax, Kai, and Ash—four mesmerizing, damaged, and captivating young men. Each possesses a wealth as vast as Midas, yet their scars run deep, seemingly irreparable.

But fate, relentless and unforgiving, orchestrated a night that shattered my world once more, forcing me to question the loyalty of my dark knights as their haunting secrets came to light. I really struggled to put into words how I felt about this book and the ending of our relationship with Lilly and her Dark Knights 🖤 Overall, I feel like if the writing was better, if the main girl was more likeable and had better fashion sense (oh my, her outfit choices are extremely questionable.) if there weren’t so many cringe worthy moments, and if the plot was easier to follow, then perhaps I would’ve given a better review. You were made for us, Lilly Darling. Every atom belongs to the four of us, just as every part of us is yours. You make us greater than the sum of our parts until we become more than we ever thought possible. You are as vital as the blood that pumps in our veins, as crucial as the air that we breathe. You are our beating heart, and our souls are bound together for all eternity.”I knew that you would change my life, our lives, from the first moment that you stepped out of that shower. I just never knew how much you would become a part of me. You are buried so deep inside, Pretty Girl, that if they were to cut me in half you would be there too, in every part of me." (Loki)

Our connection is immediate and profound, akin to a fairy tale, but my knights bear tarnished armor, embodying fallen angels with a touch of demonic souls. OH and of course we get answers to some of the boys kinks and how this could all work as a group long term, but at the same time more questions.her first day at the school, she doesn't know who her roomies are yet but she assumes it's gonna be some girls right. wrong. it's a bunch of guys. so as she is showering ( whit her clothes all left outside) she puts on the cringest song ever and starts singing to it. ( mind you it's the middle of the night). as she steps out of the shower a guy just steps in to the bathroom and stares at her naked body. lilly doesn't see a problem with this and let's the stranger dry her hoff and kneel in front of her. It is so good to see that the guys are even more willing to do whatever it takes to make her feel good and happy... they would burn the entire world for her.

Okay ladies, let's talk. Steam. Smut. Spice. Whatever you want to call it, this book is full of it. By far the most smexy scenes I have ever seen in a book. If too much steam is a turn off for you, then this one isn't for you. I'd estimate a good 60-70% is dedicated to steamy scenes. This book follows the events of the book 2 cliffhanger and how Lilly and her guys will recover. They all gain some new friends/chosen family and it's nice to see Lilly rely on them and not just her guys. I liked that everything got wrapped up this book. We get closure about Lilly's mother, we find more about Lilly's family, even her father. All of the twisted drama concerning the guys' family is cleaned up, and they get to live a carefree life now. There wasn't as much smut in this book as compared to the first two, but don't worry there's still quite a few. And there's a pure MM scene with Loki and Kai and we later see that they're getting comfortable by showing each other affection. And of course, the only correct way to wrap up this series is to end it with a spicy scene that has DVP. If you crave emotionally scarred, impossibly attractive young men who thrive in the shadows, a fiercely outspoken young woman unafraid to wield colorful language, and steamy encounters that will leave you breathless—appearing in nearly every chapter—then Captured is a novel you won't want to miss. Lily is going through a lot in this book as she realizes that her mother`s best friend, Lexi, did not just abandon her because she did try to reach out to her but couldn`t in all the ways she tried. And the same thing goes for her mother`s boyfriend, who is kind of a father to Lily. They realized that her "uncle" was keeping her from them, and they knew the reason behind it.Captured is Rosa Lee's debut novel. It's a fast burn, insta-love RH set in an academy. There's some extremely light bullying from outside of the harem, but not from the harem itself. Although set in an academy setting, very little of the book focuses on the school aspect.
