If you want enough space for bedside lamps, candles, plants or other decorative items – then you should be looking at bigger bedside tables with larger surface areas and maybe even storage space beneath. Our bedrooms may be the rooms in our homes that are seen the least by others. But our bedrooms are our sanctuaries and our calming spaces. They need to be lovely and beautiful so that we can sleep easier, and enjoy just hanging out in them! The addition of a mirror on the wall, or on the top of the Ekby unit itself will add the finishing touches to your vanity table! We finished building our new king size bed frame a few weeks ago (I’ll try to get the tutorial posted soon!). With the simple addition of a little bit of wood, some spray paint, and a couple drawer pulls, it was super easy to customize the nightstands to blend in with our modern farmhouse style. Vikhammer is a center of tourism each summer, with many German and Swedish camping tourists who camp at Vikhammer Camping. Tourists come to see the fjords for which Norway is famous. Locally, the salmon fishing is also a popular tourist activity. The European route E6 highway runs just south of the village. The Vikhammer Station on the Nordland Line is located in the village. Malvik Church is located just east of the village. Using a cardboard template, pre-drill holes to attach drawer pull. If desired, spray paint drawer pull to match nightstand legs and allow to dry completely before screwing pull onto the drawer. There is also a park in Vikhammer called "Vikhov park" which got its name because the Vikings had their houses in that area.

In comparison to our new bed frame though, the proportions of both night stands were way off and they didn’t match at all so we figured it was time to upgrade to something a bit more us. Using clamps, position and then secure the edge glued board to the top of the nightstand and allow to dry for 24-48 hours. Be sure not to over-tighten the clamps or you’ll risk damaging the wood. Just to be safe, we recommend placing a cloth over the edge-glued board, followed by a scrap piece of wood and then applying the clamps. You will know still have that dresser you need, plus a desk – and the whole thing looks attractive and stylish!The metal bench is spray painted gold, and with some configuration, a cushion is then added.
