Description

This song captivates me still, after 50+ years. Takes me to the deep South and the poverty of some who lived thru truly hard times. And the powerful spirit of a poor young girl being abandoned to her future with only a red dress and her wits to keep her alive.

She not only stayed alive, she turned her hard beginnings around, became self sufficient, successful and someone with respect for herself. She didn't let the naysayers and judgers stop her. She's the one sitting in the drivers seat at the end. Sutton, Michael. "Shaun Ryder Biography, Songs, & Albums". AllMusic. Archived from the original on 3 October 2021 . Retrieved 12 May 2022. First of all, how did Cheong Ah convince her father to let her marry Yi Chan if he was going to sent her abroad to study and never let her return? They should have never shown that scene where her father said this if they weren't going to answer this. The comedic timings in this drama were perfect. After all Choi Hyun Wwook is there in this drama. I loved Ha Yi Chan blurting out random english words in the middle of the sentences. lolRyder's charm has always lain in the disjunction between his two personae – scumbag and seer. But even after rehab and therapy, he doesn't really do rueful. He does feel bad about a few things – crying at Wilson's hospital bedside, not being around when his eldest children were little. Towards the end of the book, he describes the lost years of emotional deep freeze from which he is still emerging. Sometimes, though, Twisting My Melon seems to pass in an almost banal litany of pharmacologically inspired misdemeanours, recounted matter-of-factly, without particular glee or regret. What I loved the most in this drama is Yoon Cheong Ah, the bunny girl who is literally the word "cute". A deaf girl who has not received much warmth growing up but she isn't all weak and tries to protect herself in whatever ways possible. I love how they chose the right actress Shin Eun Soo for this role because her smile is honestly all pretty and as worthy as Eun Gyeol talks about in some scenes. Chrystall, Margaret (14 November 2011). "Book review: Shaun Ryder's life-story". What's On North. Archived from the original on 12 May 2022 . Retrieved 13 May 2022. Twinkling watermelon is another sunshine kinda, wholesome, cute cum melodramatic sometimes yet funny and enjoyable youth drama that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys this genre.

This show has a lot of music, dramatic comedy (often overdramatic with exaggerated expressions but trust me it will make you smile), two cute couples and a bunch of high schoolers who would apparently form a band and great friendships (usual to such youth dramas). Another question is does Eun Gyeol remember his life after the time travel like the 18 years of his life when he grew up wealthy?

JOHN KONGOS: When I heard the Mondays’ version of “He’s Gonna Step On You Again”, I actually did call the cops because Shaun twisted my melon, man, ha! But I soon grew to love his very different version. People come up to me now in Arizona and say: “I didn’t know you did a cover of the Happy Mondays song!” So it’s all cool. Overall, this was a very good drama. I really loved it. A solid 9/10 from me. But there were many plotholes and things that were not explained and didn't have a proper closure. Though the ending wasn't rushed, I think that a few more minutes or an addictional episode would have been good.
