The adjustable boost setting is useful. I'd prefer the LED indicator to be red but, due to its position on the side, it's not a nuisance.

Next, the Q control allows you to shape the response of the wah effect from a narrow bandpass that emphasizes higher end harmonics to a wide bandpass that emphasizes lower end harmonics. Finally, the Volume knob and Boost switch allow you to bump your Cry Baby signal straight to the front of the mix when it’s time for that bangin’ solo. A convenient LED lets you know whether or not the boost is engaged. Auto Return Switching We have no reservations about this unit’s other features. The archetypal wah tone is right there at your feet; and by combining the range switch and Q control, you can fine-tune its voice with great precision. Your key variables are how piercing it gets at the top of its travel, and how honky it is in the middle. This isn’t about radical revoicing, just zoning in on the perfect wah shade for each occasion. Now you can get the dynamic versatility and space-saving footprint of the Cry Baby Mini 535Q Wah with the ultimate mod for convenient live performances—auto-return switching. Controls The Jim Dunlop CBM95 Cry Baby has been a center piece of the guitar world for many years. The only problem is that with guitarists rigs getting smaller and smaller the Cry Baby became a pain to carry around off your pedalboard. With that in mind Dunlop have gone and released the Cry Baby Mini at half the size of the regular Cry Baby it will easily fit on your pedalboard. Dunlop loaded the compact Cry Baby Mini Wah with three very usable and very distinct tonal flavors. Low, vintage, and GCB95 settings, selectable from inside the pedal, give you a wide tonal palette to choose from. These sounds cover the entire range of wah pedals that Dunlop makes. Add this to true-bypass switching, and the Dunlop CBM95 Cry Baby Mini Wah is a must-have. True-to-vintage Italian-made inductorsThe case of the ‘incredible shrinking stompboxes’ continues to take intriguing new turns. While the advantages of mini pedals are clear – more effects-per-square-inch of stage, less arm-ache on the way home – the current fad for miniaturisation hasn’t really stretched to treadle-based units, such as wahs. This is down to one very simple factor: the sheer expense of foot-reduction surgery. But since 2015, the four-inch Cry Baby Mini has been proving that you can operate a half-size wah with a full-size hoof… and now it’s even found room for some extra features. While the Dunlop CBM95 Cry Baby Mini Wah features Italian-made inductors, Dunlop has left its time-tested, rugged design the same. You can be sure that the Cry Baby Mini will keep sounding incredible stomp after stomp, year after year. Dunlop CBM95 Cry Baby Mini Wah Pedal Features:

At half the size of a standard wah, this Cry Baby Wah provides the perfect balance of wah control, pedalboard-efficiency, and onstage convenience. The Dunlop Mini Cry Baby Q Wah is a super versatile wah pedal in this perfect, tiny format. The Q Control allows you to shape the wahs response and emphasis on high and lower harmonics. The CBM535Q Cry Baby Mini isn't just any mini wah pedal though: it features the awesome Q Control knob, which allows you to shape the Wah's response to your taste. There's also controls for Volume and Boost, and even a handy LED next to the Boost switch which lets you know when it's active! The Mini Cry Baby Q Wah features the four most popular sweep ranges with the range selector the musician can chose the tonal character of sound using the range selector providing the perfect balance of wah control and pedal board-efficiency. It also features a handy LED next to the Boost switch that lets you know when its active which makes it easier for the musician and adds to the design of the pedal. I used to own the classic GCB95, where one could set the range by unscrewing the bottom and manually adjusting the gear. The 535q's controls offer a selection of different ranges, more easily. However, I haven't been able to find the ideal setting, yet.If you have used a Cry Baby you know that its distinctive voicing and sweep range that have become a must have. This smaller version does not skimp on tone or usability, in fact it has a couple of added features that your current full size Cry Baby may not have. Plus since it is loaded up with the legendary Fasel inductor you know you are getting something that will sound truly great. Now you can get the dynamic versatility and space-saving footprint of the Cry Baby Mini 535Q Wah with the ultimate mod for convenient live performances—auto-return switching. Supersache bisher.
