Kodansha's K Manga app launches with 60 English simupubs among 400 titles". Sora News 24. May 10, 2023 . Retrieved May 10, 2023. And for those of you who have been able to make it this far down, I'll tell you the most important thing I got out of reading this story, and something I probably won't ever forget: Instead, what you get is just a simple yet beautiful story. The devil is in the details, and if you've already read a lot of manga, I can tell you that the story here paves its own paths in its own special way. You won't be disappointed if you remember that these characters are still technically kids. If you're an adult and self-insert yourself

Loveridge, Lynzee (August 31, 2022). "Medalist, WITCH WATCH, Akane-banashi Win Next Manga Awards 2022 Results". Anime News Network . Retrieved February 17, 2023. Additionally, Rintaro and Waguri have a healthy, admirable relationship that positively influences their immediate friend groups. They also start dating relatively early and avoid the often-cumbersome dynamics of “will they, won’t they” romances. All the characters involved make efforts to communicate well and establish good relationships despite the challenges and biases caused by tensions between their respective high schools. As an example of good behavior, these things are fair to admire from the manga. The intrinsic positivity displayed all thorughout the chapters and that always gets poured out in the interactions between the characters make reading this an incredible heart-warming, unique experience. 'Cause we all like our drama, we all are into our really spicy cliché romance stories with toxic traits and annoying characters, but sometimes we forget about how impactful the portrait of happiness can also be. And I think that's exactly what this manga speaks for.The only point down is that it's obviously not for everyone along with the simplistic nature of the story. It's a manga that you won't get hooked into immediately, but after reading it through, I truly believe that in all romance or even in general, manga I've read - this one has the most simple yet realistic writing of characters. Harding, Daryl (February 2, 2023). "RuriDragon is Japanese Bookstores No. 1 Manga Recommendation of 2023". Crunchyroll . Retrieved March 5, 2023. Kaoru Hana wa Rin to Saku is not a bad manga. However, I do not think it offers a distinctive enough experience to justify its high MAL score. But if you want a pleasant, easygoing story about romance, friendship, and what it entails, this manga is definitely a cut above the rest.

One day at work, Rintarou sees a customer at a table, but she runs off before he can talk to her. The next day, he receives an apology from the girl, Kaoruko Waguri, who explains that she did not run away because of his appearance and that she believes Rintarou is a kind-hearted person. Although he is not used to Kaoruko's bright personality, Rintarou looks forward to forming a friendship with her. There is just one obstacle that stands in his way: Kaoruko is a Kikyo student!

However, I think the dramatic tools the story utilizes are at odds with the story’s content. Often accompanied with genuinely enjoyable and natural slice of life shenanigans are multiple chapters of the following: characters calling friend group meetings to talk about one decision that a character plans to make, characters apologizing a lot to each other for really excusable transgressions, admitting they were not kind at first impression, revealing that they had a harder time earlier in their life, apologizing again after having just apologized for something else related to the something that has already been resolved. These, in and of themselves, are not bad story telling tools nor even inappropriate within the context of the story. However, the dramatic manner they are told has, for me, not appropriately matched the gravity of what has happened in the story. In a certain place, there are two high schools next to each other. Chidori High School, a low-level boys' school where idiots gather, and Kikyo Girls' school, a prestigious school for young ladies. Rintaro Tsumugi, who attends there, meets Kaoruko Waguri... A vivid youthful school story woven by two people who are "close yet far"!! Sixteen-year-old Rintarou Tsumugi is a student at Chidori whose intimidating face leads people to avoid him. Rintarou pays no mind to this, as he is content with his group of friends. However, there is something he has not told them yet: sometimes, he helps out at his family's cake shop. of people I was taught to hate and I'm mean to them but as soon as I get to know them they aren't actually that bad and we can even be friends" Rintarou Tsumugi (MC) - Tall scary misunderstood kind hearted dude. I could very well relate to this guy and his problems and you can actually learn throughout his journey real life scenarios in the manga.
