Description

The HeadRush FRFR-108 is a lightweight 2000-watt full-range, flat-response powered cabinet that perfectly complements your HeadRush Pedalboard, Gigboard, or any other multi-FX/amp modeler to give you a realistic room-filling sound with the authentic feel of a speaker pushing air.

I work with an 11-piece band (Austin Party Band) that I fit into a 16x12 stage, and the bass and guitar stood behind the (2) keyboards (Stage left and right) next to the drum kit, and had difficulty with getting a good monitor mix, so I bought the HeadRush specifically for them.In fact, it might help to compare their frequency range - after all, in theory if you want a FRFR the frequency range is a key part of what you're after. If you do that, the Alto reports a range of 48Hz-22kHz and a maximum decibal level of 129dB. The Headrush reports 52-22kHz with a max 129dB.

I don't know much about the Pod Go, but Helix has a nice global EQ that can help even things out with different speaker types.USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.

The HeadRush pedalboard turned heads (and ears!) when it was released in early 2017, with its amps and effects emulation making it a hugely versatile and all-encompassing piece of gear. With the ability to use the pedalboard in conjunction with amplifiers or direct with front-of-house PA systems, HeadRush has since unleashed its very own tailored speakers that are made specifically for their unit. Headrush’s FRFR 108 is a 2000-watt, low-weight, compact, and portable guitar/bass amplifier. It has 2 XLR inputs so that you can easily plug in two instruments at once and set their volume individually with the help of individual volume controllers. As the original poster, I enjoy playing with headphones and am disgusted by the sound emitted by the Headrush :-). I keep the Headrush low (about 1-2 out of 11 on their volume scale, not 1-2 hours) to not be evicted from the apartment, and play with the Helix and guitar volume when needed. Some recurring characteristics I see: Although the 108 would be considered a budget FRFR.... it should not sound bad, just not as good as higher end models. Many people use the Headrush successfully... so it should work for you. I use a "budget" FRFR myself but not the headrush.... I have no problems getting what I need out of it.

Due to its small size, FRFR 108 is better for smaller rooms and studios. It has a good sound quality for the price it is selling for. It is very simple to use and easily installable. Specially-voiced 8-inch woofer and highfrequency compression driver deliver a precise, flat response across the entire frequency range without any artificial colouration The reason is that FRFR 108 is created for use with electric guitar modelers. It would be great if you play in a small practice space or at a lower volume. Other than the weird volume swings between the built in presets, my specific complaint about playing through the FRFR is in regards to notes played on the B and high E string. In the headphones they have beautiful punch, sparkle, responsiveness, sustain, etc. Through the FRFR they sound like garbage. The clarity and sustain just evaporate. Headrush 108 and 112 both have high output power, peaking at 2000 watts. They provide clarity and enough headroom for every situation with this ultimate power.
