It is a perfume with a beautiful presentation, I have had the perfume for over 3 years, a heavy glass bottle but attractive to the eye. The first aromatic-aquatic appeared in 1991, making this signature a relative newcomer to the fragrance world. The herbaceous notes are brightened with cooling seaside tones, resulting in a salty, rugged freshness. When this particular product is first applied, grapefruit, ginger and lemon are recognisable. Next middle notes of sage, lavender, waterlily and marine notes take the spotlight. At last a deluge of amber, moss, cashmeran and patchouli soars in to round out the olfactory experience. Finally I got round to buying this, First impressions are that I'm very underwhelmed. I can only assume they have reformulated it because I'm getting 2 hours tops from this. After 30 mins it's like a fart in the wind. Almost undetectable. I like the slightly sweet alcohol note and the lavender/ violet leaf in this… Makes it a bit more tamed and not as in your face as 1 Million can be. I just can't forgive the poor performance though, I only buy fragrances that have reputations for performing above average. I don't see the point in making a fragrance if it doesn't perform well, and the greed these company's show by reformulating and watering down former powerhouses.

So when you see someone yapping (probably in a nasal David Spade voice) about "its smells synthetic" just bypass the comment. It holds no value. They are not discussing the qualities of the fragrance, they are just ignorant of perfumery. In conclusion, is Halloween Man X a bad fragrance? No, it's actually really good for the price but it's not unique at all and it's totally redundant if you have Stronger With You, Azzaro The Most Wanted or Axe Dark Temptation. I suggest you to spend a littlle bit more and get Ferragamo Uomo Signature instead which yes, is similar to Code Absolu but it doesn't make it redundant to have both because they are different enough. By the way, performances on Halloween Man X are really good, easily 6 hours minimun of longevity. The Perfume does not have much of a trail, it is always almost a personal bubble, you have to be close to other people so they feel your presence. Due to its low cost, I have no problems in over applying it, in this way I can be noticed in closed environments. I would say it is for all seasons. but only with low heat. or middle cold weather.

However for me is missing that special "something" to love it. As I am not a particular fan of Valentino and Dior Homme, so probably I would like this fragrance to lean more to the YSL or CH directon or even to an independent own direction (more bozier and darker). Aside from Lucy (whose solo adventures are depicted with some regularity), Halloween Man's friend the Man-Sized Goat presumably has his own career as a superhero, one which predates Solomon Hitch's origin as Halloween Man. There are other super-heroes as well, including an "official" American hero team, which is usually stated to be handling some other crises whenever a situation arises where their intervention might prove timely for Halloween Man and his friends. Well, i tried it for some days and i'm a bit disappointed, this is literally Azzaro The Most Wanted / Stronger With You with an added coffee note, that's it :/, the differences are really minimal. It also has a really similar vibe to Axe Dark Temptation.
