Apply 2 coats with a brush, or for maximum protection on surfaces exposed to extreme weather, 3 coats. Apply using light, even strokes in the direction of the grain, avoiding overlap. Leave each coat to dry for 2-4 hours before applying the next coat, sanding down lightly between coats and wiping with a damp cloth. Do not use in temperatures below 5°C or in high humidity. The final colour will depend upon the wood type, previous treatment and the number of coats applied, and may look different to the colour in the can. Coverage will depend on the porosity of the wood. Unwanted Food or Drink Products - Once supply conditions are broken, there are a number of factors outside of our control that can affect the quality of a product. Therefore perishable goods such as food and drink cannot be returned.
