Temperature control performance is not so great. I used a couple of different builds at varying resistances and I could never get a consistent vape. I tried messing around with the TCR values but this didn’t do much to improve the consistency. It either throttled too aggressively or didn’t throttle enough; I couldn’t get a good in-between. As it stands, I would stay away from the Pulse V2 if you’re a TC squonker.Removing the bottle for cleaning is easy, too. Instead of unscrewing the cap all the way, unscrew it just about a quarter turn and you can pull the entire bottle out.

Power mode performance is amazing. I actually find the Pulse V2 to hit a bit harder than other mods that are set to the same wattage, so I tended to lower my wattage a bit. Minimal branding on the device you have PULSE II nicely engraved on the front edge near the squonk bottle and on the rear edge is VANDY VAPE in large lettering, there is more but it is hidden with the resin panels. On the front panel is the fire button, colour screen with new chipset , which is uncluttered clear and easy to read with all the relevant information displayed, battery life ,watts, resistance, volts, a puff counter with 6 digits so in theory you can display 999999 puffs, and a puff timer, below the screen the wattage up and down buttons and Type-C USB port.Filling the squonk bottle is simple and mess free but done from underneath as it is a bottom fill device, you will see what looks like a battery latch door similar to some Aegis mods, (a tiny magnet keeps the loop in nicely in place). The Pulse V2 is a great looking mod. The design is similar to the Pulse X but it looks and feels more refined. The frame of the body is made out of ABS nylon and there are two removable resin panels. These panels are very slightly curved which makes the Pulse V2 comfortable to hold. It’s also very lightweight, coming in at only 100 grams with an empty bottle. When working with Li-ion (Lithium-ion), LiPo (Lithium-ion Polymer) and any rechargeable cells, please be cautious and carefully use as they are very sensitive to charging characteristics and may explode or burn if mishandled. Please make sure that you have great knowledge on all rechargeable batteries before you use them. Always charge batteries at the clean and fire-proof surface. Never leave charging batteries unattended. If you see that there are visible damages on the batteries, please do not use. Always keep, store and transport the rechargeable cells in a safe, non-conductive container in a controlled environment Overall build quality is stellar. The entire mod feels very well built and the fit and finish are perfect.

The mod is held securely in a foam tray as is the 18650 battery adapter,underneath is the Type-C charging cable, Instruction Manual, extra squonk bottle, a small hook tool for removing the squonk bottle, user manual etc
