You were created for a unique role on earth (that no one else can fill). Every Christian (not just the pastors, priests and clergy) is called to God’s service (your Ministry). You serve Him by using your God-given abilities to help others. This is a full-time commitment, not something you do in your free time. (For example, “I always feel tense, as if there’s something I should be doing, but I don’t know what it is.”)How do you think this situation developed your Christlike character? (For example, you were tempted to act selfishly and without self-control, but by resisting the temptation you made the choice to act as Jesus would.) When your fellowship is genuine, you’ll receive the four vital experiences of mutuality, authenticity, sympathy, and forgiveness. Worship helps you focus on God; fellowship helps you face life’s problems; discipleship helps fortify your faith; ministry helps find your talents; evangelism helps fulfill your mission. There is nothing else on earth like the church!” Your ministry is about serving other believers, while your mission is about reaching out to nonbelievers. one of Jesus’ followers is commissioned to continue what he began on earth: to free God’s children from Satan’s power. Share the love of Christ with everyone you encounter in your daily work/life. In the process, you impact their eternal salvation.

What unique experiences do you think have taught you valuable lessons to teach others? (For example, you had a very good boss who taught you how to effectively manage teams, or you had a painful experience that prepared you to help others dealing with grief.) Reading your book made me realize that I’ve been living my life so wrong, always starting on the wrong line, always running and always focusing on my own ambitions. I learned that I cannot fulfill God’s purposes in my life while focusing on my own plans. There are also many quotable quotes that were able to inspire me there past few weeks. The book is designed to be read one chapter a day for the reader to "digest" and ponder the point that the chapter wants to convey. I recently had a couple of misunderstandings with someone close to me and this book became my companion in threshing out what could be done to fix things. Warren actually helped me in seeing things at that someone's points of view so saying sorry, forgetting and granting forgiveness were not really that difficult.What solutions can you think of to overcome this barrier? (For example, you can look for mission trips for older adults, or find a friend from your church to join a trip with you.) I hope a lot of people would read your book. Imagine the world if only all the people living in it know their purpose. It would make a great difference. We have to learn to deal with both the good and the bad of life. Actually, sometimes learning to deal with the good is harder. We need to ask ourselves: Am I going to live for possessions? Popularity? Am I going to be driven by pressures? Guilt? Bitterness? Materialism? Or am I going to be driven by God's purposes for my life? God didn't put us on earth just to fulfill a to-do list. He's more interested in what we are than what we do.
