Description

The pixel pitch shows the distance from the centers of two neighboring pixels. In displays, which have a native resolution (the TFT ones, for example), the pixel pitch depends on the resolution and the size of the screen. The headline specs paint a good picture of the features on offer and include the 165Hz refresh rate, a 1000R-rated curve, the 2.1 speakers and a two-port, USB-A 3.0 hub which can act as a KVM switch. The latter allows you to swap a single USB-A cable between computers and use the same keyboard and mouse – ideal when bringing a work laptop home. Information of the number of pixels in a unit of length. With the decrease of the display size and the increase of its resolution, the pixel density increases. The static contrast shows the ratio between the brightest and the darkest color, which the display can reproduce simultaneously, for example, within one and the same frame/scene. From screeching brakes to revving engines, every sound adds to your experience. Make it sound real with 2.1 ch speakers, a 5W subwoofer, and a DSP for selectable audio modes.

Keep your eyes on the road, and the hazards, and the competition. You don’t have to choose with HDRi graphics and Racing Mode to showcase crisp, clear details in vivid color. Authentic Audio As for connections, there are 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4, a USB Type B Up and two USB 3.0 Downstream. I will appreciate the fact, there’s a plastic cover to neatly put your cables and hide it later. Performance Its pixel response time is comparable to other VA panels so it’s acceptable for fast-paced play. Some smudges and ghosting can still appear, but it mostly comes out in fast and contrasting transitions. Using the monitor’s trace-free setting moderately will help with this limitation, although it cannot eliminate the trails and smudges completely without adding overshoot at the maximum level. Thoughts on the BenQ Mobiuz EX2710R

Being a true HDR 4000 display, it’s 400 nits of brightness, it’s remarkable that the viewing angles really help with the curved display. This isn’t just a gaming monitor, it works with media consumption, this is a perfect duo I look for in a display of this class and this monitor to me makes for a compelling buy. Verdict MOBIUZ is engineered to put you in charge of your play. Take control of your ideal gaming experience with intuitive, selectable settings. Eye-Care for EXtended Play It’s worth noting that the BenQ EX2780Q, which I reviewed in August of 2021, beats the BenQ Mobiuz EX2710Q in several areas. It had much better color accuracy, a higher contrast ratio, and superior SDR brightness in my testing. This comes at the cost of inferior HDR performance and a lower refresh rate. The EX2710Q is better in fast, competitive games, but the EX2780Q will look better overall (and it’s less expensive). Purchasing Guide The BenQ Mobiuz EX3210R’s UHD resolution adds good detail, while the 165Hz refresh rate keeps everything buttery smooth. The 1ms MPRT helps reduce ghosting but it’s not totally absent. The panel also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro which can prevent image tearing and boost performance in compatible games. Approximate diagonal size of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the diagonal is calculated from the width and height of the screen.

Wrap your field of view in 1000R curvature, closely matching the surface curve of your eyes, for a true behind-the-wheel feel. With the horizon in full view, nothing can take you by surprise. The monitor’s 1440p resolution could be a problem, as you won’t be able to view content in native 4K. That’s a downside when watching Netflix and when creating content. My testing also found that the monitor’s out-of-box color accuracy was average. It was fine for most situations but no better than 4K office monitors sold at half the price. Information about the number of pixels on the horizontal and vertical side of the screen. A higher resolution allows the display of a more detailed and of higher quality image. Overall, the BenQ Mobiuz EX2710Q offers good but unexceptional image quality for an IPS gaming monitor. It’s punchy in bright scenes, especially those that support HDR, but struggles in darker games. The monitor holds up best in fast-paced games and falls short in slower, more atmospheric titles. BenQ Mobiuz EX2710Q – Motion PerformanceAnother minor potential gripe was that we constantly switched between preset colour and performance modes to suit what we were watching – there wasn’t a one-size-fits-all mode, but you can make good use of custom settings to help alleviate this. BenQ raves about its HDRi technology which supposedly simulates HDR, but in our experience all it seems to do is annihilate whatever you’re watching by blowing out highlights and/or plunging shadows into darkness. Fortunately, it’s simple to turn off. However, what you’re left with is a display with only mediocre contrast: dark scenes can be washed out while details get lost in bright areas. Approximate width of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the width is calculated from the diagonal and the aspect ratio.

The BenQ Mobiuz EX2710R is compatible with both FreeSync and G-Sync so you will always have VRR no matter which GPU you use. This duality is handy now because GPUs are difficult to find on shelves and quite expensive if they are. Input lag sits at 4ms at 165Hz, so it is fast and responsive enough for gaming. Thoughts on the BenQ Mobiuz EX2710R The BenQ Mobiuz EX2710Q goes above and beyond in its design and feature set, but the same can’t be said for its image quality. It looks fine but doesn’t stand out from other high-end 1440p gaming monitors. The monitor supports HDR10 and has VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification, the lowest level of certification offered by VESA. The monitor reached a maximum sustained brightness of 420 nits in my testing. This, combined with the wide color gamut, can deliver extra visual omph in flashy HDR games. Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5, both of which lean on bright, sharp, colorful graphics, looked exceptionally alluring with HDR on.Size class of the display as declared by the manufacturer. Often this is the rounded value of the actual size of the diagonal in inches. A pair of rear USB-A ports are available and driven by a single USB-B upstream connection from your desktop or laptop. This too is typical for a 1440p gaming monitor, though it is starting to feel a bit old-fashioned. BenQ could better justify the EX2710Q’s price with additional USB-A ports or support for USB-C. The stand’s legs are a bit wide for a 27-inch monitor and take up significant room on your desk. Standard VESA 100 x 100 millimeter mounting is used, so you can swap the included stand for a third-party monitor arm, or wall mount. BenQ Mobiuz EX2710Q – Features and Menu Information about the brightness of the screen. It is measured in candela per square metre (cd/m²). Information about whether there is a possibility for wall mounting according to the VESA Mounting Interface Standard (MIS).

Another special feature of the BenQ Mobiuz EX2710R is its unique treVolo speaker layout that’s composed of 2-watt drivers and a dedicated 5-watt woofer. It sounds considerably better and clearer since it has decent levels of bass. Headsets will be better for immersion, but we’re glad to have a set that’s usable for movies or casual gaming in case it’s too hot to wear cans over your head. Display and Performance The monitor’s greatest strength is arguably its color gamut, which in my testing covered all of sRGB and 98% of DCI-P3. This monitor has the over-saturated, ultra-colorful look common to gaming monitors with a wide color gamut. Color accuracy is just okay out of the box, but I think most gamers will like what they see.

Design and Features

The rear is a stylish silver with some geometric detailing. It also has four LED strips which can be set to nine different colours and pulse in a variety of patterns.
