The physical connection between Holder and Sky made it difficult to breathe; the moments of intense passion, emotion, feeling. I needed the descriptive nature of those scenes (not because I’m a pervert), but because I needed to feel the emotion. I needed to feel...everything. I felt everything. It brought a level of intimacy that left me speechless. And I swear I will spend every last breath thanking you for allowing yourself to love me.Thank you so much for loving me....." Because the sky is always beautiful. Even when it’s dark or rainy or cloudy, its still beautiful to look at. It’s my favorite thing because I know if I ever get lost or lonely or scared, I just have to look up and it’ll be there no matter what... and I know it’ll always be beautiful.”

When deceptions are discovered and lies are revealed, Will it keep them together or break them apart? The storyline follows Holder as he first spots and meets Sky, falls in love with her almost immediately, and proceeds to learn more about her past, his past, as well as both of their present. We watch both characters learn to heal themselves as they try earnestly to heal the wounds of one another’s past. You're kidding right?" He leans toward me. "You don't know what an e-reader is?" I shrug. "It still looks like a tiny TV to me." I really want to go on and on about their relationship and all the twists and turns and the complexity of this book- but I will not spoil it! You absolutely have to read it yourself. Wow. There was a lot I didn’t see coming. A month later, a boy tries to instigate a fight with Holder, but Sky prevents Holder from retaliating and takes him away to his car. Holder breaks down, and explains that the boy was the brother of the kid Holder had beaten up the previous year. After Les’s death, Jake had said that she’s taken the coward’s way out, and though Holder knew that was the truth, he couldn’t take it, and so beat him up, but he didn’t know that he was gay.Think of Finding Perfect as a thread that ties multiple Hoover titles together. A sequel novella to Finding Cinderella, a continuation of the All Your Perfects story, and the final iteration of the Hopeless series , Finding Perfect revives the story from the perspective of Daniel, following his relationship with Six and their eventual heartbreak.

For the best reader experience, Colleen Hoover does recommend that you read the standalone novel, All Your Perfects(as book four) before Finding Perfect for the final novella to make sense. When Sky asks Six about Holder, she says that while she’s happy to learn finally that Sky is capable of experiencing lust (which she is, big time), Dean Holder is not boyfriend material. The previous year, soon after his twin sister’s suicide, he had been sent to juvi for committing a hate crime: beating up a gay student. The Hopeless series by Colleen Hoover comprises 4 books with one additional book related to the series: I felt laughter coming out of me when her friends were being lovely and silly and when she sent the wrong text, when she blurted out stuff randomly, and at so many other things... That night, another repressed memory resurfaces in a dream, and Sky realises that Karen was the one who took her. Sky confronts Karen and asks her why she was homeschooled all her life, why she’s not allowed to have a phone and everything else that’s been odd in her life. Some part of Karen realises that Sky must know the truth, but she doesn’t come out and tell her anything. Sky leaves the house with Holder, needing to just get away from it all.

After just reading the prologue, I. Was. Hooked. and I just knew that I had to put my life on hold until I finished it. It gives you a taste of where the story is headed and just grabs at your heart in a way that makes you just NEED to know more. I felt tears running down my cheeks when I cried...you know the type when one tear hasn't even rolled down your cheeks before another one is slipping out of your eyes??...I cried that type of cry when I read everything...

But one horrible day, Sky uncovers things that Holder has hidden from her. Holder, his twin Lesslie and Sky knew each other when they were kids, but when Sky was five, she was kidnapped, and had never been found. And her real name was Hope, not Sky. Sky & Holder travel to Austin to see her old house, and Sky realises that she had been sexually abused by her father, but had repressed the memories. They meet her father, who admits to having abused Lesslie and his sister too in a similar manner. After his confession, he kills himself. Holder & Sky return home, and confront Karen, who confesses to kidnapping Sky when she was 5, because she knew she was being sexually abused by her father. How? Karen is Sky’s aunt. Karen is ready to hand herself over to the police, but Sky forgives her, and Holder too, and everyone lives happily ever after. What happened in Hopeless? I loved that the story was serious but little parts made me laugh out, breaking up the more emotionally charged scenes. I swooned, squeed, proclaimed my undying love for the book, and had to take breathers to wipe the tears that sprung up on me more than once. You take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have, The Facts of Life. - Gloria LoringLet me inform you of something, the moment my lips touch yours, it will be your first kiss. Because if you’ve never felt anything when someone’s kissed you, then no one’s ever really kissed you. Not the way I plan on kissing you.” One of Hoover’s most popular titles and the subject of the forthcoming movie starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, It Ends With Us follows Lily, a hardworking business owner who meets a too-good-to-be-true neurosurgeon, Ryle Kincaid. The two fall dangerously in love, but Lily is left thinking of her first love, Atlas Corrigan, who suddenly reappears in her life, threatening her relationship with Ryle. What do you do when you’re bored? You don’t have internet or TV. Do you just sit around all day and think about how hot I am?”
