i have this polyester dress i wear everyday i got from the thrift store, & if i forget to put on deodorant. It will start to perspire w the last owners underarm smell. It smells like a eucalyptus type of smell or maybe a sharp peppery menthol un-nutered cat pee smell to this on my skin. I washed it off immediately. & waited till later, that night-tried again. Totally not understanding why this one isn't discontinued. But better smelling purfumes are? How is this something anyone would want to wear out. I do not find it a unisex perfume, rather it is a masculine perfume, but it is not rough or harsh, although I own a large number of perfumes, and I smell more, but I did not find a perfume similar to this, so it is a unique perfume, and through my experience this perfume is admired by women when It is worn by men. The berries take longer to emerge from the plethora of notes that bombard you initially, but as they do, the scent starts to get less soapy, and more juicy, sweet and smooth.

The Eau de Toilette formula offers around 4-5 hours in terms of longevity. So, if cloying colognes have you swiping left, Burberry Touch is a great match. These fragrances are long-lasting and made of completely natural ingredients. The sillage the Touch range leaves behind is both heavenly and prolonged. The Touch women’s bottle portrays a more clear and transparent look. These are different, but it's been awhile since I had my nose on Truth, although I can see why they've been compared. There are similarities in the overall vibe of spicy, fruity, green floral. Truth has a more forward citrus quality and could more easily be worn year round, while Burberry Touch has the more forward red pepper and comes across as greener, making it lean more to Truth for Men. Roughly equivalent performance, or slightly better for Truth. I wanted to wear Touch to a friend's dinner party, but I just couldn't. I zealously applied it to my skin when I got home and was met with a pungent lemongrass odor. Like many people, I think Touch resembles baby powder, but the lemongrass took me by surprise because it's not listed as one of the notes. Lemongrass is often used in Asian cooking, so I don't usually have a problem with it. I think the issue here is my skin. I bought Touch without first spraying it on my body. I know it's a silly mistake, but I'm still a newbie at this. I will probably make a few blunders every now and then.Not the performance I'm looking for and definitely don't want people getting THAT close to figure out what I'm wearing. The women’s touch is comparatively more sweet and fruity. It brings out the Burberry ladies’ soft and sweet feminine side. It is ideal to be worn on those first dinner dates. It strikes me as so well rounded as to be hard to describe. Looking at notes helps a little. I sense a perfect balance of musk, spice, creamy woods, and something a little sweet. Maybe that's why women like it so much. My hubby is the perfect guy for this cologne and I am getting used to hearing womenfolk who hug him say, "Wow, you smell good!" Be confident in your scent selection without the hassle of experimenting with countless cologne samples and blind buys. The opening reminds me a little bit of Dune by Dior, I think its the woody mossy notes mixed with the white florals and the red pepper, this is also a very well blended scent in that I cannot, aside from the woody/mossy notes, single out any specific notes. The overall feeling is a warm, comforting scent which feels like being sat by a roaring fire after having a shower with citrus shower gel, wearing clean pyjamas and being wrapped in a soft, cosy blanket that was kept in a cedar blanket box.

In the opening, it seems savory and fresh rather than being sweet. It's very dewy, like a garden in the early hours of the morning. Touch was certainly not a love at first sniff, but I missed it to the point of adding it to my wardrobe. It is reserved and calming after the invigorating opening. The sillage is moderate to skin scent at the end of the day, with excellent longevity. Not one to be over-applied. Could be a year-round fragrance, but I see it geared towards autumn/winter, with its cozy dry woody notes. Versatile enough for any occasion. This combination of top accords is very hard to resist. Would definitely recommend smelling first before buying, but if you're into powdery, pseudo feminine, dark, intimate scents, then go ahead and blind buy this bad boy. It's unique, interesting, & versatile to boot. Definitely one of the more complex fragrances from the house. Burberry fragrances have a reputation for being cheap, especially the newer ones, but Touch is nice.
