When we take a look at the G535 build quality, there isn’t really much to rave about. The headset’s frame is made entirely of painted plastic, and I wouldn’t count on it withstanding too many drops. However, I can attest that it isn’t cheap flimsy plastic. These headphones, therefore, would be big for people with small heads. They do, however, easily fit most head sizes. Audio Quality

That isn’t to say that the build quality is poor, more like average, and is what I expect from a low to mid-range gaming headset. The frame is sturdy, and the headset is easy to stow away and transport when needed. Along with that, these headsets are stable on the head and don’t move around even while you’re lying on a couch. Working side by side with the frame is the suspension headband. I always used to dislike this style of headband; I hated messing with the ridiculous velcro attachment of my old Steel Series, but Logitech has completely changed my opinion. Since the G733 I have welcomed the ski-goggle-style band with open arms, and the G535 is no different. The band replaces a head cushion and rather than velcro there are two multi-slot attachment points to choose from on each side. These headbands provide a great deal of comfort, distributing the weight and force across a wider area and conforming to the shape of your head, unrestricted by the frame. It’s possible that the G535 is a Best Buy exclusive a la the HyperX Cloud Core Wireless and that they’re just not marketing it, but that’s so weird. Usually a new headset launch is accompanied by proud PR materials and fancy videos, not silence.

Lastly, the G535 headsets aren’t portable, which is usually normal for gaming headsets. Therefore they can’t fold or swivel to reduce their footprint. Overall these headphones deliver good audio, and you can hear the vocals, lead instruments, and dialogue clearly. The Design of the G733

The bass response on these headphones is good, although, as mentioned earlier, the lower bass notes don’t have the “punch” I would like them to. However, they still provide the balanced bass accuracy that I need for immersive explosions and gunshot sounds while playing. The Logitech G535 Lightspeed is an intriguing gaming headset, featuring one of the most left-field designs of any model I’ve ever tested. The Logitech G733 fails to impress with its limited controls. There’s a usual on and off button, an infinite scroll wheel for volume adjustments, and a mic muting button. The G535 don’t offer much in terms of bass-boosting or excessive rumbling, which some may miss, but for these first-person shooters, the bass is just fine. Comfort is one of the most important factors when it comes to gaming headsets, next to sound quality. The global average for “binge” gaming sessions is reported to be right around 5 hours long. With numbers like those, you can imagine ensuring comfort is a top priority for headset designers. The midrange and treble also sound good, blending well without letting one overpower the other. One thing I notice is that the higher treble frequencies seem to be a little bit dull, which causes some of the higher notes to fade out.
