Sure, the thought that it might be a tad oversized did cross my mind- but I didn’t let that stop me. LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group of Companies. bricks taller on the interior height than the tuk-tuk that came with 70607 Ninjago City Chase -- plus extra height in the build outside.

I know tuk tuks and auto rickshaws are the same vehicles, but I've never seen anyone refer to this vehicle as a tuk tuk in India. Similar to the mini LEGO London Bus, there are a couple of new sets based on regional transportation. Yeah it looks nice, but I think it looks a bit too big for the minifig scale (even though "minifig scale" is a vague and inconsistent concept). Kids will enjoy creating fun adventures with this colorful LEGO® Creator Tuk Tuk buildable car, featuring front and back seats, hanging decorations and Indian-style lunchboxes in a pallet on the roof.More minifig-scaled versions of this type of vehicle have been depicted in the Lego Ninjago Movie and Monkie Kid themes, and while those have their own appeal, the almost square side profile does get a bit lost in translation. The Tuk Tuk is an odd little vehicle, there have been a couple of LEGO versions appear in a couple of sets, namely from Monkie Kid and The LEGO NINJAGO Movie themes. I think the reason it looks too big for "minifig scale" has a lot to do with the way minifigs themselves are articulated. I have it loaded up with a driver in the front, just like in your images, and two figs standing up in the back simulating tourist excitement - one connected to the floor and one holding on to the sidebar.

Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). It's a really minor complaint, though - I love that LEGO made an India-based set and I hope we see more in the future!

With or without figures the model looks pretty nice and is a good representation of this famous vehicle. Tuk-tuk measures over 3” (9cm) high, 2” (6cm) long and 4” (10cm) wide – great for playing at home, but its size makes it easy to fit in your bag so you can enjoy the fun on the go. Admittedly, most of the Tuk Tuks you’ll find shooting around the streets of India, will not look as jazzy as this one.

I think it's a great model of a Tuk Tuk, but I think it would be better as a smaller vehicle for minifigures, maybe with a little market stall or street scene. Some of you may know me from other LEGO sites so you'll know I have a good experience of the LEGO community and a deep, passionate commitment to all things LEGO. All the people in the videos and comment section made it clear that 40469 was most definitely NOT minifigure scale. Due to the fixture of the car it stays stationary and sharp in the photo while the wheels and the background are blurred due to the motion. It is based on the Tuk Tuk, an iconic mode of transportation for around the streets of India, where they are the most common method of getting around.
